Exactly what does Jim do that warrants a $5,000 raise when the city should be considering layoffs? The way this city operates is criminal. There are lots of roads that need to be repaved and this guy sits on his duff for a whopping paycheck.

his job should be eliminated, along with the vice mayor position.check out how many aides city council has.we could cut the budget in half by cleaning house and cutting outrageous salaries.
all city jobs should pay min. wages. if they dont like it. theres people waiting.

Why is Jim Landon getting a raise when we are near a depression....I guess he has played up to the special interest. Going to build another tennis court or walking trail? And then lay of some more city employees. Amazing! He should be reduced in salary and half of the staff should be fired. Peace

Daily Horoscope for January 5

Scorpio

Let the past stay in the past for now. Even though you may have fond memories of intense experiences, the Virgo Moon sees to it that you have virtually no desire to go there again just yet. This is your opportunity to show others what you can do in a more civilised environment. Don't try to shout down someone who is rude enough to interrupt. As unlikely as it may seem, the softest voice has the biggest chance of being heard today.
