As someone who new the family, I am deeply saddened by this, as I personaly never saw the man take a drop in the two years that I lived across from him and his family in Palm Coast. My sons are good friends with his son, and also would be completely shocked if this was the case.

I am stunned by what I am reading in the paper. My husband and I were actually travelling down I-95 South on Wednesday night. This guy was 2 cars in front of us and all of a sudden slams on his brakes and pulls a U-turn right in the middle of I-95. He then starting driving normally on the wrong side of the road!? He was going north on the southbound side. I don't know what caused him to do this or how this happened but we missed this guy hitting us by about 2 seconds! I have called the Sherriffs department and given them this information. I hope that it will help in any investigation.
