if you move to palm coast fl you will regret it ,unless you move to iowa in the corn fields this got to be the worst. yes you must need a car everything is far away, there are no buses, few taxi companys in town , thre are no jobs at all , nothing , unless you get really lucky and you end up in target or walmart for 8 bucks a hour. bringing a teenager here will be the worst, this is retirement land and nothing else to do. all the houses, or 95% of them are in foreclosure or short sale , nobody wants them, yes if you wanna buy its cheap because unless you bring a lots of money to back you up (unlimetted) time you wont be able to pay your rent or morgage , restaurants close 10pm on saturdays nights , its a joke , hoo you got stake n shake open 24 hr , i forgot . and walmart , but as beautiful its seem if you are moving here to work and you dont bring lotssss of cash to back you up , you will go broke. i move from new york city to palm coast because of the cheap property deals we had, and i made a big mistake , you can never compare a huge and giant city like new york to this little nothing town wich is completly dead . just come down to visit firt and look for work ,,, good luck
Sorry

Lived there done that. Glad I sold my house in 2005. I dare anyone to say it now is not worth half of what it sold for then. So glad I left then. Lets face its happing everywhere, but at least good paying jobs can still be found up north. In Palm Coast they work for peanuts if they can even get that. House building kept them alive now that its gone they have nothing.

I moved here from that hell hole called NJ 6 yes ago and have no regrets. It is a great place to live. I love the outdoors. Great place to fish and golf or go to beach year round. I agree that there aren't many high paying jobs in PC but there is the option of working in Jax or near Orlando. Commuting isnt bad. Have a better job here and make very good money and am living well. For those who want to bash PC it's because you are just miserable people. Wake up. There are as many lowlifes and welfare recipients in NJ and other places as in FL. I am glad you lowlifes left here. It's people like you that bring down everyone. Enjoy your miserable lives in the cold north if that's where you live and don't ever come visit here. There are alot of great people here. And its what you make of it. I will never move back to immigrant infested NJ.

Can anyone give me some insight on the Imagine School and or the Old Kigs Elem. Moving there soon with two small kids. Both are dyslexic and need a little extra help. I would also love to hear if anyone knows of a good tutor or any other school that would be better. Thank You!!

Agreed. Coming to Palm Coast to check it out for myself. It looks like a relaxing place, affordable and a comfortable safe place, and those are our major concerns. But I will certainly see first-hand before making any huge decisions.

I read with interest the comments left by various people. It seems the lowlifes leave comments to keep decent folks from moving in and the decent people encourage people in hopes to add some positive attitudes to the mix. I read the statistics of Palm Coast as well as several other areas of Florida and will plan a trip there myself as I am searching for a place to relocate from up north. My concerns are affordable housing, shopping convenience, and a comfortable safe place to plant roots. The negative comments from a chosen few obviously with depressing lives do not deter me and the positive comments are about things that can easily be verified. I did my homework and will do a "walk-thru" in the near future and I am looking forward to it as Palm Coast does sound very attractive on many levels for my wants and needs.

I agree with the last post from PC licksass i find the people here be rude an snoby i used to live in port orange fought, that sucked to being here i have never hated anywhere more than Palm coast before anyone said's why you here it's simple it's because i was only 8-9 years old child when my family came down here I'm originally, from Maryland, an i would way rather live back their or in pennsylvania, than live here whenever that day comes i have that money I'll gladly leave i don't like this hot miserable crap weather 24-7 365 day's aweek i rather have season change i don't care about your beaches either ocean city, will do just fine for me if I want to be at the beach, or I'm fine with a pool durning summer months up north don't care about your ugly looking Palm trees or lacking jobs, housing and driveways are small with no room for nothing only floridian " can live here or anywhere in the state and be happy I'm not from here I'm not willing to accept this as my home now or ever!!
