Boy run over on beach remains in serious condition
The 4-year-old Deltona boy run over by a truck just after coming out of the surf on Ormond Beach remained in serious condition Monday, officials said. And while Antonio Vazquez was being treated at an Orlando hospital, the Sunday afternoon incident reignited the debate on whether large, modified trucks should be allowed on the beach. A Volusia County Beach Safety Ocean Rescue report and 9-1-1 call were released Monday and shed more light on the chaotic beach scene at high tide.

Once again few details provided such as was the running wild while his parents were taking a stroll?
Or was the driver speeding, driving crazy, texting?
Whatever the risks of beach driving are the risks of having thousands of people crossing A 1 A to get to the beach is far greater. Additionally, it impossible to build enough parking area near the beach to accommodate all.
