Fellsmere has become a mexican town.It caters to them.Been ther for many years but left a few year ago.All the businsses are mostly hispanic. All the ol timers are gone.Hispanics are in the city council now. They do have a frogleg festival once a year that does very well.hope this helps

I lived in Fellsmere in 1978-79. I loved the area then. There was a small mobile home community there at the time, where my grand parents retired to in the winter months. There was a Myrtle Street and an Oleander Street in that community.
I worked at Fellsmere Farms// a packing house. It was my first summer out of high school and I met a lot of nice people from all over the US and Canada that worked there.
It was a lovely, extremely clean area back in those days.
I would go to Wabasso to the beach and Sebastian to fish at the inlet. Those were wonderful days and I have many beautiful memories of then. Does anyone remember the Bush family, or a girl (woman) named Terri Marvin? I have forgotten so many of the people's names, it has been so long ago!! My grandparents had some really nice neighbors named Juan and Janet Santos.
Just taking a stroll down memory lane. Thanks for letting me share!
