Feeding homeless people who have been "BANNED" from Daily Bread and other soup kitchens?! Obviously, they didn't know how to act there...so GREAT! Lets bring them to our parks! I'm sorry, parks are for children and families. Why doesn't this minister bring these people to HER backyard?!

How selfish, Mishelly.
People who have fought for you to be free, only to come home to find they have been rejected in the land in which they have dreamed of, fought for, lived for, born in. Its overridingly pathetic how downright ignorant your comment is.
Children should be raised to know that they don't have to sit by and allow people to suffer, they can help, along with other people.
I've been going downtown for years now.
I have never had a problem with the homeless, I contribute what I can and I understand their troubles, even getting to know a few.
I guess its true when they say. The Lower Class is there to Scare the Middle Class.
Until you are homeless, its apparent you will not understand, Because thats what it is. You don't have a nice computer to complain on the internet. You don't have a fresh pair of clothes.
I've been to said park throughout my highschool years and recently.
I only see one homeless man visit regularly and he gathers what he can to feed the ducks.
How dangerous! How downright disturbing! Shield your childrens eyes! Hes feeding ducks! Noooo!! The HUMANITY!!
My hat off to this minister, She has a heart of gold and is truely a wonder for what she is doing. I commend her. She is one of the heros America truely needs, She is a symbol of the Morals we have forgotten.
Reject the homeless, reject human standards, We're in this together, and even if you don't want to, I will help. You should never stop caring for another human.

I have had a lot of dealing with homeless over the years and can say I have seen the best and bad side of the issue. Ive seen homeless that were good people just down on thier luck and honest religious and just in general good people.Others that are that way because of mental issues and some are homeless because they are the criminal types and those addicted to dope and or booze. Some because they are lazy. Some just lost thier jobs and or support system and have not been able to recover it.Some have serious health issue and are unable to better them self. There are many reasons for people to be homeless and all are not bad .Sadly you can only do so much with those who are the criminal type and or addicts . They generally dont follow all the rules and cant be trusted Many are aggressive and physically dangerous. The mentally ill are often mixed in these groups and often it can be hard to tell if its a mental issue or are they criminal type and or addicts. There is no easy answer to these issues.I wish I could say I have a answer to it.We must face the truth there are some people in the world that can not be helped, dont want help and are incapable of fitting into society for various reasons. Some we can help some we can not.Often we must devote our resources to those who we see have the most potential and who try to fit in the system.

Let us not forget the story of the beaver who carried the deadly scorpion across the river in a effort to be kind and help the scorpion. The scorpion bit the beaver and the beaver asked why did you do that. The scorpion replied you knew i was a scorpion when i climbed on your back what did you expect.

As a American I see us trying to help the entire world be every ones friend .We must face the facts we cant do this either. We can only help those who really want a hand to help pull them up.The cradle to the grave care and help just isnt going to ever happen for all.Yes its a tragedy but its reality.
