"Clean" Gas Stations?

Hi, I am hoping someone can answer this question: we were recently told that we should start using premium gas in our 2009 Lexus because the catalytic converter was failing. This auto repair place also told us that there was cleaner & dirtier gas, depending on station. They said the cleanest here was Sinclair on Patterson. Is this really true? I tried searching internet for articles on "clean" gas & found nothing. Thank you.
