Intrusive light, generator noise banned in county areas

Noise intrusion from loud outdoor generators and light "trespass" from unshielded or poorly aimed exterior lights will both be outlawed as a result of actions taken by the Butte County Board of Supervisors.

You have got to be kidding me... all of the things that we have going on in this country right now, and we have people nit picking something this lame!!
My neighbor has a bright light in their backyard. It has been shinning in my back yard for 20+ years!!!
It irritates me all of the time, but you know what... when people were getting broken into in the neighborhood, it was the perfect deterrent to keep the thieves out of our yard and theirs!!!
People can be so petty!!!!

I'm with you pal!!! When my neighbor's stereo cranks up at 3:00 AM and dam near throws me out of bed....I'm reminded by the OH SO NICE DEPUTY....OUR COUNTY HAS NO NOISE CONTROL ORDINACE!! Pays to know the right people I guess ...seems like they need to get their priorities straight....maybe at the polls???
