tee hee he.... Why does this not surprise me? Shyt. They all need to get drunk and stay drunk over in Palatka so they can live with their conscience for the way they handled the Haleigh Cummings case and covered up for Ronnie boy and his lyin' crafty sainted mama, Mother Teresa. But they aren't gonna get away with it forever. They'll all hit pay dirt one of these days... I can hardly wait!

Not only that, wasn't the "Sapp" name connected to the Cummings or Sheffield famiiles? I believe earlier on in the Haleigh Cummings case, a cousin or two with that surname was mentioned.

Wonder why he wasn't arrested. And only charged with DUI and careless driving - not charged with DUI/resulting in property damage, since the damage to the taxpayer-owned patrol car was $4,500? Guess that lets him off the hook for paying for it and the taxpayers will eat that, too. I had to laugh at the 'Master of Coverups', James Griffith's, statement: "Driving a city of Palatka Police Department vehicle while intoxicated is definitely a violation of our policy and procedures". DUH!

Why wasn't he arrested? Anyone heard if the State Attorney's Office is doing their job and charged him yet? The 'selective enforcement', coverups, and favors that goes on in Palatka is disgusting.

Not every thing you hear or see in the news is as it is stated, before you judge this young man that risked his life over and over again to protect and save the citizens of Putnam county, get all the facts!!!! Have you ever question if anyone else who is pointing their fingers now has ever had a DUI and is still on the JOB? Mistakes happen everyday no one is pefect but let justice take it's turn here let the court system do it's job!!!!!

Personally know Sapp and he is a great guy. We all make mistakes and we the people make judgement because they are law authorities doesn't matter behind that badge and uniform they are still human.

You people are way out to lunch! Sapp or no other city police officer had any thing to do with the cummings investigation. Check your geography and you will see that the investigation centred in Satsuma, Florida (Not Palatka)Putnam County Sherrifs Office is conducting and always have been conducting the investigation in the Cummings case.

If you want to run your face, learn the facts. I am no fan of the Palatka PD But come on!

Jermaine Sapp did not have anything to do with the Cummings investigation. If you want to know the truth about Sapp, the cover-up, and what you have for a Chief of Police read the Topix post "Palatka PD hires Fugitive as Officer".

On 12-12-11 Jermaine Sapp was granted a Pre-Trial Intervention Contract of 12 months, during which time his Law Enforcement Certificate will be suspended, he was ordered to undergo drug and alcohol evaluation within 30 days, and pay $250 cost of prosecution and $150 LE investigative cost.

Good job by the good ol' boys.
