WHAT WOULD YOU HOPE TO BE REMEMBERED FOR ACCOMPLISHING AFTER SERVING IN THIS OFFICE?
•"I would want to be remembered for being a Sheriff, a public servant that cared about the people of Putnam County. One who performed the duties of my office and fairly enforced the law without fear or favor. One who always equally protected the lives, property and interests of all of the citizens that I swore to defend."

Are you kidding there hasnt been equal application of the LAW in that agency ever ...Jeff go have another drink at the cow catcher....

you remember when hardy lashed out about sheriff dean kelly shooting at a beer keg,

that seems so minimalnow, with all the crap that hardy has done in office, at least kelly got out in the field and work alongside his ppl, kelly knew what was going on,
Hardy gets in office ,,, gives big raises to his command,, hires his buddy attorney Hardy sits outside smoking all day, slapping deputies on the back saying "atta boy" and deputies are barely making it

Kharma is a $&&#@ Hardy will go down in history as the biggest joke in putnam law enforcement
Hardy , when you lose Mr. Beck will not hire you; he has used you all up.

In Hardys campaign insert to the Palatka daily news when he was running last time, he said that

he would " increase salaries and benifits for rank and file employees."

4 years and no truth to that

if you don not believe me, just check, that was hardy's own campaign insert for the paper

another campaign promise by hardy published by palatka daily news on 07-14-2008

"there will be a blue ribbon committe and civilians will sit on it and it will be open to the public and the lowest bid will get our money."

NEVER HAPPENED !

if you dont belive me, just go check the palatka daily news for 07-14-2008 that is what hardy said,,

so how can he keep serving as sheriff if he cant even keep promises he made before and did not follow through

this is only the second hardy campaign promise that never happend,,

i will be posting more that Hardy said to the public and news

Jeff, we all know that you and your staff, except for dwight D reads this each day and evening.

Can you at least tell us why you could not even abide by your own promises.

These are your own statements. How can we expect our cops to be honest when thier boss is not?

Are you suffering from demention, bi polar, drugs, or you just let your ego take control and not expect that there would be consequences for your actions. Time to put on your Bigboy hat and tell the truth. We know you are short and like to stand behind others, ie Bowling at press conferences after you start to shake and your voice break up, but step in front and try to salvage the wreck you are in right now. At least go out of office with honor, because you sure did not serve with honor. I do wish you luck; you was a great cop at one time.

From what I hear and see there is no honor in alot of what is being said by many.
Everyone in the sheriffs race has baggage of one kind or the other. Some new some old, some really stupid, some trying to be reduce the facts and one in his own world of make believe. There may be some things which were promised and not done, but to be honest, that is in every election from every candidate. It will happen this time from every candidate also. People who have never had any goverment involvement are making promises and they have no idea what they are getting into. Those who are making promises best be ready to have their behinds handed to them on the same hatchet platter going around now. It is all called politics and a certain few think they can control all who get elected. Simple facts----you can not predict what you will do if you have not been there before. The other side of the window is a mile away, no way to forsee the up and coming.

what has masters promised?
If candidates promised absolutely nothing, wouldn't it leave you to believe they're not even campaigning? Seems like a catch 22.

Someone, please ask Sheriff Jeff Hardy about his massages in the back of the EOC building during the Heliegh Cummings case. While every deputy and detective in the agency was beating bushes and working every lead. We go the EOC and we see a young lady in one of the rooms giving Hardy a massage instead of working like the rest of us. Who checked his time sheet that day. This guy was lost as hell during one of the County's most important cases. But he is off getting a massage.Do you cuys understand that we even had to bring in an outsider who had better law enforcement qualifications to stand in front of the cameras because the Command Staff at the Sheriff's Office couldn't do it.This is election time and I am truly praying for Putnam County right now.

Perhaps they were all in shock and just bothered by what the scene had shown them. I know it would really be hard to admit that just maybe calling in someone else to do press interviews was the best thing to do. As I remember the press had lots of opinions that were not fact yet, and if the SO was trying to concentrate on the evidence and facts bringing in an outsider was the best move. I am sure that every officer involved in that case from searchers to investigators were on edge and still to this day go over the case in their heads. But then according to you all the county deputies from Putnam, St. Johns. Marian and don't forget all the others, federal marshalls, special search teams and experienced officers from all around are all
no good and not worth having because in fact no one has been able to solve this case.

Where in what you read did you see anything related to the case remaining unsolved or anything about the teams of experienced officers who worked the scene. I am strictly commenting on the experience level of the high sheriff who was unable to communicate effectively with the public. Putnam seriously needs a leader who can stand up and speak effectively in every situation even the serious ones. Every officer involved incluing the Sheriff wanted to find this little girl with all their hearts. It's how we handle ourselves during this type of incident that needs to be called into question. I feel that getting a massage during this incident while everyone else was doing the work is unacceptable. What does he gets paid to do while at work provide leadership and direction or get massages, which is it?

You know I really thought Jeff was a great guy until he became Sheriff. His attitude changed greatly. He lied to a lot of his voters, but that is nothing new for a cop to lie. Especially a PCSO. They lie and steal. Take drugs, and take payoffs. I know this for a fact. The majority of the PCSO has a bad attitude. They will not smile or even say hello to you when you speak to them on the street or in a store. Then we have Mr. Crash Dummy that wrecks more cars than Nascar. Yea Bowling> maybe if you would get off that shit you are taking and clean your head out you might be a better person. Hardy> lay off the ciggs as they will kill you. You are really setting a good example to the younger people of Putnam Co. In talking with other county SO's Putnam Co is the laughing county of Florida. But then again who cares? The good ole Bastards of Futnam County will still rule. Bend Over Beck and all his money will one day go up like a fart in a thunder storm. My, My, My,Oh for another day in Futnam Co.
