My oldest son was 14 in the 8th grade and he never failed. You have to be 5 to start kindergarden by Sept 1st and my sons bday is a week later so he started out 13 in the 8th grade and a few weeks later was 14. As for everyone judging the girl (which i dont know and for all i know everyone could be right about her)when i was in High School i meet someone and my friend told him we were 2 years older than we were and we all became great friends and knowone EVER corrected him on our age.(even though i didnt agree with the lie i didnt rat out my friends lie). And have you seen kids these days i have a 16yr old that looks like he's in his 20's and alot of people dont believe he's 16.A freshman at his high school thought he was a teacher. How can you be 14 & in 8th grade? She should be in high school!
Oh, but this is very tragic for them none the less...but maybe now with this story & the one from St. Charles, teens (& adults) will make smarter decisions when in vehicles.
I feel this is a tragic event and i feel for the families who lost there children but knowone will know the whole truth now.
As for the 8yr old i agree my child wouldnt be out that late but i have a friend that lost her husband and her 15yr old watches her 8yr old while she works and kids will be kids even when we think there home safe.
