Not buying it! Especially when I read articles like this.

"John Schnatter, CEO of Papa John's, is threatening to reduce worker's hours to 30 hours per week in order to avoid covering them under the Affordable Care act (Obamacare). He claims it will cost an additional 11 to 14 cents per pizza to cover his employees, a cost he cannot absorb or pass along to customers, so he plans to make his employees absorb the cost through reduced hours and reduced pay."

Yeah right. 14 cents is going to drive customers away by the hordes so it justifies punishing the workers by reducing their meager paychecks even more. Sociopathy and hatred at it's finest. Let's give the wealthy even more special privileges due to the superb intellect they seem to have.

lowes hAS BEEN DOING THIS FOR YEARS TO AVOID PAYING HEALTH INS. as far as obama care it penilzes the people that have kept insurance all these years by raising preiums and reducing services.it allows people who get a major health problem to go out and get insurance and we have to pay for it. they did not bother to pay into health insurance for years until they get sick. its like getting a life policy when you find out you only have 6 months to live, it dont happen and should not happen with health insurance. i am not saying dont help those people but dont make people who have worked all their lives pay for it. people need to look at obama care and find out what it is about, they are going to fine people that dont have health insurance, where do they expect them to get the money to pay the fine if they cant afford health insurance.and the public assistance is abused, just drive by the emergency room on the weekend and look at the people that is there, most of them could have went to a doctor during the week instead of paying the high cost of er. the medical and drug profession needs to be policed also they way over charge. i can go to my family dr and get bloodwork done and it cost about $40 out of pocket, but go to kings daughters and it is 5 or 6 hundred dollars. and i know someone who had their gall bladder out and they had to pay 3 anitheoligists. when i had children they only used one. and the drug companies are really ripping people off.my doctor gave me an antihistmane and it was over 200 dollars, the rx called the doctor and got it changed to something else for 7 dollars

maybe john wants to try to keep the cost of buying his pizzas low for his customers. maybe even though john is very, very, very rich and has worked his butt off to create the business he has today, he cares enough about others to try not to charge any more than he has to in order to sell pizzas and make as good a profit as he can. i have seen the beautiful park john has made for his workers to walk around in if they choose to while they are on break, at lunch or off the clock. john is a wonderful guy. i have met him and he seemed to really care about the people who worked for him. i think that if someone , like john, has worked so hard, used their intelligence to create wealth and not suck off the govt like you gas bag, they should have a few extra priviledges. look at all the taxes they pay in just so you can lay around on your big fat a$$ gas bag. rich people are taking care of you gas bag, why do you hate them so badly. is it because you are jealous that they are far, far more intelligent than you are gas bag? i think so gas bag

What incentives do young people have today to work hard through school and make a good living, only to have the government punish them?

exactly right. people are willing to work hard, make a thriving business out of limited reasources and pay taxes in order to provide for the truly disabled, the elderly, and others who truly can not help themselves. then, when they do they have idiots like gas bag who lays around on his butt at their expense, and while they are laying around and sucking off the government, they call the rich people who have worked to make money to pay into the government in the form of taxes ignorant and haters and other mean-spirited names all the while they are taking the money that the people they are calling these bad names has made.

John Schnatter lives in a MANSION.
And you know the FREE giveaway that store is having? They arent having troubles. His store is oozing money and this is just another gimmick for him to make more money without cutting in to what he already has. Hes made his money and doesnt want to put it back in to HIS comoany and HIS workers.

If you have a company that has made you money, and you have saved it,then your company is no longer making money you think that person should take there saving's and put it back in the company to keep it going? So that company in these condition's is no longer profitable, but you think that person should go broke just to keep his worker's working. DAMN GOOD IDEAL,YOU MUST BE A UNION PERSON OR WORK FOR THE GOV.OR DRAW A CHECK.

but the company IS making money. You DONT give away FREE STUFF if its costing you money. Every rich business owner knows that.
The company makes millions of dollars evey day. The drivers use their OWN vehicles, they are spitting out $100,000 commericals EVERY DAY, give away pizzas for he NFL season, not to mention the deal the company is getting with the NFL and the endorsement of Peyton Manning. Yeah, his company sure is dying.
How selfish that the people who make and deliver the customers their food should get healthcare for working for such a rich business. Shame on the CEO for upping the price of pizza instead of recycling his money in the company. He stays rich, but everyone paysand yoh DEFEND him like its ok to be selfish and trick people.
Those last 3 little guesses of how I make money were cute too. Desperate words from a desperate person whos logic makes no sense.

that is the whole point to starting a business. why should john or anyone else hang on just to pay other peoples way and not his own. anyone who has taken the chance to start a business has put a lot of money and effort into it. why should they not reap the rewards?
