i just can't wait until the 2016 election when hillary chases obama out of the white house. or better yet if hillary would write a book. she would make billions if she spilles the beans on obama.

The president doesnt have anything to do with that.
**********The announcement came after the majority of the company’s employees did not return to work Thursday, and the company said it did not have the funds to weather an extended strike. As a result, approximately 18,500 employees will be fired, and the company will close all of its bakery and distribution centers, according to Hostess’ website.*******

That paragraph has NOTHING to do with the president. Stop trying to cast blame without lack of facts. You just have an ignorant opinion because youre still whiny over the election. Get over it.

I agree. You can't force anyone to stay in business and lose money. If they want to close, let them. Someone will make junk food and if they don't , we'll be all the better for it.

Hostess did not change with the times. People are eating more healthy now. Hostess pushed their sugar loaded products without trying to reinvent the products to have less calories, less sugar, etc. That was their problem, not Obama's. If you recall, the Auto Industry crashed under Bush's watch, with the exception of Ford.

As far as doing the job, apparently the majority does think, since he won the election. I am not a fan of either one, but I could not imagine either what or how the next four years would have been with Romney.

Sweets are good in moderation, and are better for you than anything with sugar substitutes. These substances cause obesity and complications in diabetes. You wouldn't believe what your diet pepsi is doing to your body. If you don't believe me do your own research.

You're exactly right. If people, especially in eastern KY want to eat, they had better stop worrying about another pain pill and start figuring out how to raise and preserve some of their food. They're used to a government handout that's removing their self sufficiency. That will be yanked away abruptly shortly.

Don't forget to prepare to handle your own moderate medical issues now while bandages and first aid supplies are plentiful.

If you want to live, that is. If you don't care, I don't.

The things you all have as priority right now are stupid. Water, food, and shelter better be rising a little higher on your lists if you plan on making through the purge.

i think you are right on the mark, when 18,500 people become unemployed with the closing of one company and so many other companies laying off employees what will all those people do when their unemployment benefits run out. how will they take care of themselves and their dependants ? where will they get food when they do not have money from the govt. comming in to feed, clothe , and provide shelter for them? they will begin to rob and steal from the people who were intelligent enough to prepare for the horrible times that are clearly coming to america. obama is a destroyer and a dishonest man. i am so sorry for the american people . we have a liar in chief not a commander in chief.

i am aware that unions has caused the downfall of the hostess company. i am also aware of the lies the obama administration told about the benghazi attack. nixon was impeached for far less and no one was killed in that situation.

Bush did have intelligence that there was WMD and Hussein himself said he had them. There is evidence that before we could get them, they were smuggled into Syria. Obama had NO evidence that a youtube video caused Benghazi. He just lied. Plain and simple.

"In early February, Hostess had asked the bankruptcy judge to approve a sweet new employment deal for Driscoll. Its terms guaranteed him a base annual salary of $1.5 million, plus cash incentives and “long-term incentive” compensation of up to $2 million. If Hostess liquidated or Driscoll were fired without cause, he’d still get severance pay of $1.95 million as long as he honored a noncompete agreement."

"Some unsecured creditors had informed the court that last summer — as the company was crumbling — four top Hostess executives received raises of up to 80%.(Driscoll had also received a pay raise back then.) "

Yup. It's all Union doings.

<quoted text>Well smart as the facts are that Obamacare is causing many businesses to cut cack or close down. Employers will only work their employess 28 hours to get around giving health benefits which will FORCE people to BUY their own healthcare or be fined---What? you can't pay the fine? Ok off to jail for you---hows your hotshot President now?
you rock on freaky bro!!! if i had continued to stay at the job i was in at 29 hours a week, i could not make a living much less pay for healthcare like obama says i must do or be fined. i could have gotten a second job to take up the slack, but i prefered to go on the dole like our most enlightened one ( gas bag). it is no small wonder goofy ( nancy pelosi) told us we had to pass obamacare inorder to know what was in the bill.

yes gas bag it is!!! the workers were told to be back to work by thursday night or they would close the business down and the union said hell no we won't go and the company closed its' doors for good and therefore it is the unions fault that the company closed. the company intended to keep on going if the workers were back on the job by thursday night so therefore it is not their fault.
