It's that time of year: glorious weather, sunny days, cool nights, low humidity, long shadows. Even the creepy hillsides in this area can be pretty with change of colors.

However leave it to the hillbillies to f*&k things up. Not only do you pollute our streams and air with your coal, but you can't resist open fires.

It's in fact a little hilarious if it weren't so goofy to see a bunch of fat-bellied rednecks standing beside an open fire right off US-23. What they're burning I have no idea (couches?, padiddles?, grandma?). It doesn't matter, the rest of the cultured, normal world bans open fires, except hillbillyland.

You stoopid bahstards..

I don't believe very many of us are impressed with your sweeping generalities. I don't think many of us give a half a hoot for your opinion. I know that I don't.

If you were half as intelligent as you pretend to be, you wouldn't be so fond of them.

Do you think it is a redneck tradition? I know many more children who have never been in a beauty contest than I do ones who have. I have to agree with you on this one. I think most people do.

If you don't like it here, get the Hell out of town new girl. No one asked you to come. If you didn't love rednecks you would not be living here trying to join 'em. haha LOSER!! You must be jealous of not being a genuine redneck like the rest of us. I'm a redneck woman and damn proud of it.

According to this article in Wikipedia, this is not exactly correct.

I don't see where that reference refutes my perception.
