I need to know how many people here in Johnson County are involved or ever have been involved in an investigation done by social services that have cost them their children, TPR, or you are currently fighting for your children at this time to either have them returned or keep them from being taken. I want to know your story if your willing to share it and the circumstances surrounding current or past situation. OUR RIGHTS ARE BEING VIOLATED AND WE NEED TO START STANDING UP AND DOING SOMETHING ABOUT IT INSTEAD OF ROLLING OVER AND LETTING THEM DO WHATEVER THEY WANT TO US AND OUR FAMILIES. In 24 hours I will start to share my story with you.

I am willing to listen to anyone that has something to say about their situation. What about those who have done nothing to deserve the kids to be taken away and the children have to suffer because they were in a good home and the parents were good people and they still took them and it was all under false pretense. Why should the children and the families suffer because there is no proof only what people say that it looks like. Be careful do not be like others who misjudge apperances before they know the facts. It could lead to more damages in a family than what anyone would wish for it to be inflicted upon anyone most of all the children. If you feel that something is going on get your proof, take pictures, find witnesses that have been in the apartment that would be willing to talk to you not just someone who has a vendenta. Make sure you have all your facts together before you make your call and be willing to stand up and say to the worker that it was you that made the report and hand over your evidence.

Stand up and take care of them or have an abortion before you have one to neglect.

There's your rights.

I am a foster parent and I think this is a joke..parents are given chance after chance to straighten up. If your tpr is coming up then you have done absolutely nothing to get your kid or kids back. All parents have to do to get their kids back is parenting classes, drug screens and show up to court and visits. Personally I think that is a joke. I think if your tpr is coming up I feel sorry for your kid or kids bc that is a long time to sit in foster care waiting for you to straighten up. This is ridiculous that you get on here thinking people will feel sorry for you. If your tpr is coming up I pray for your child's sake the judge does what is in the best interest of your child and leaves them in a stable loving home.

If social services come in and remove anyones children do they not give them a court date to show up in front of a judge??? If you are so innocent and such a good parent then I am sure the judge should of seen something that the social services didnt.... I dont feel sorry for the parents who are thinking it is ok to drug it up in front of their kids.. To me that makes you a loser.. I agree with "really".. these kids are waiting to long for the parents to change.. crazy..

You know some people don't need their kids back because thay won't that check and some thay for know reason. What makes me so mad is thay take them away from.. the bad mom and dad and give them wright back to the same thing. Ifill if thay them over drug then you don't need them back thay need to be put in a loving home. The one that lives at 815 6th st got her kids taking and she don't need them back because she fouls with all the drug heads she is trash

I will let you know this much about me right now....even being a Foster Parent you can be just as bad as a social worker because you work right along with them. If it is drugs then yes I can understand that.....NO my TPR has not come up and will not because that is a bunch of crap anyway.....Also I know that there are good parents who are trapped in an endless circle that do not deserve it. What I am looking for are those parents that are not haveing to be drug tested or are and are trying to do what they can to get their kids back but nothing is good enough. People like all of you who misunderstand postings like mine need to learn to watch and observe first to the postings and then comment later.

For one I am not a drug attick but if people are making the effort like they should in something like that I have to agree with you but, not being the parent on the other end you really do not have the right to pass judgement. Unless you know the whole story then you need not try to make your comments......there are more than one sided stories and Foster parents have been known to lie too and be guilty of all kinds of things. For example there was a case in Michigan where a foster father and mother constantly sexually abused a 7 year old child and the child kept complaining but nothing was ever done till the child returned home to the mother and father and was taken to the doctor evidance was consistant with the claims and the foster parents finally admitted to the crime and were convicted and put into jail. I will have stories like this one above from all over the US and the resources to back them up so pay closer attention to what is said before you pop off like this again. I am here to inform Parents that do care about their kids something can and must be done.

It is sad that these days in Family court you can be charged just by an accusation from any person and when it concerns a child the person doing the acusing is always right even if there is no truth to the matter. Yes a court date is given with in 10 days after the children are removed but I want you to know that A parent has the right to refuse for the entry of a social worker or police officer of any kind without a court order that includes questioning your kids at school without your knowledge as well as in your own home or even to remove them just because they have a suspicion.

There's your rights.
If you were on birth-control you wouldnt even think about murdering an unborn child or even have the chance of neglect.

My story begins the day that I noticed that my unborn child had started to slow down in movements and then stopped noticeably moving all together and I had to go see my DR to find out what was going on. I am a good mother, I have wonderful children but I can honestly say that I have only really raised the two older ones, the youngest of three was not raised by myself but by my mother who decided after 13 yrs she could not handle the mental instability of the child cutting on themselves. The child had spoken with a friend at school and this friend told my child to do the self mutilation so that social services would get involved and my child would force my parents into an unwanted situation so that the child could move in with me which is what the child wanted at the time. Well I wanted this too more than anything I had been fighting for several years in order to bring my child home and never gave up some form of hope. So I have went to the DR and found out they are having to deliver the baby early.....they did an emergency C-Section and while I was in the hospital relatives volunteered to take care of the older children. Well the baby had a 50/50 chance of making it.....so the baby was flown to Lexington UK hospital and we stayed in Lexington while our relatives took care of the other children so that they would not have to miss any school. Well the child that is in question that came to live with me decided that it was a real treat and vacation not to have any responsibility to learn and be ready for when they were old enough to be out on their own. So the child got with other friends who have admitted to helping concock a story to help the child get out of my house and to move into the home with the relatives. This is where I will stop for today..........

Well for one at first I loved being a foster parent until every single placement you get goes right back home to the same trash no matter what. I have had a large number of children in my home and I adored all of them beyond belief. It breaks my heart for the kids to be placed in a good stable loving home like mine. Be given love and guidance and a good schedule and then be sent right back home no matter what. I have had children in my home who describe pot to me. I as an adult have never exposed myself to pot drugs alcohol or any other bad habits and it is so sad to listen to a baby talk about those things.

I do agree with you on that perspective to see and know a child can describe things that they should have never known anything about. To be returned to families like that and they do not want to change. That I can understand but those that want to make a change they deserve a good fighting chance.

If a person is not guilty of "said" accusations, then why would or should we care for anyone from social services to speak to our children or enter our home? Trust me, I have had a few people that I have made mad at me call them on me. But nothing has ever come of it when it happened. Due to the fact that my kids are taken care of. I am sorry for the things you have said you and your children have been through but I am not understanding where you think it is Social services fault that your son and some freinds came up with a story so that he could move out of your home. Apparently something had to be going on for him to feel that way and go so far as to actually cut or self mutilate, I mean seriously. And honey.. I dont feel that parenting classes are harsh enough.. You shouldnt have to do parenting classes in the first place. All kids want is love and to be fed and taken care of. Classes shouldnt have to teach a person that!

Things involving childrens services aren't always cut and dried. I have an acquaintance whose children were taken permanently. She was outside with her husband while her toddlers were napping in a crib. She was charged with neglect and lost both girls and a son. The son wasn't even home. He was in school. Her appointed attorney was someone who specialized in bankruptcy. The attorney himself asked to be excused and replaced. The judge denied his request. Yes, the parents were given chances to have the children returned. They ran the gamete of supervised visitations, classes etc. They passed the classes with flying colors and even had the instructor testify in their behalf. They still lost the kids. The reason they lost them is because no matter what they did during the supervised visitations, fault was found with them,,, even if it was made up bs. The one girl had an eating disorder and the mom fed the child what and how the doc told her to. Even this was twisted and held against her in court. This happened in Wayne county Ohio. Wayne county had been investigated by the FBI and even appeared on 20-20 for being the number one spot in the U.S. for having children removed from the home. Those who run childrens services may not always be lilly white servants of the state. They may be cruel people with a god complex. There are those who have no business having children much less raising them. Then there are those who have done nothing wrong yet cross those who are in power by fighting back. It kind of goes back to my own personal views,,,, we have the best laws and government money can buy.

I have had problems with social services.I have a daughter that I love very much. I lost her to Grandparents due to my boyfriend. So I got rid of him, went to parenting classes.drug testes, and everything else they wanted. But because the grandparents had money. they kept finding reasons for me not to get her back..They don't want her now, because she is older and more of a problem...They have other kids and the kids are tired of my daughter being there. So they get money to keep her. But I get to keep her now, social services doesn't know about it..I let them have the money to keep there mouths shut and everyone be happy..Its a shame that grandparents are like that. But its a shame we have not got a better court system..I love my daughter.and will do what I have to ,to keep her..Good luck getting your children back..
