"Girl nic names for our Boys baseball players?" Missing money and

I know in Baseball we have used nic names for our players for years, Babe Ruth even had his fair share.
What gets me even more is our 9, 10, and 11 year olds playing baseball with the league right here in Pahrump has a certain Coaches wife who thought it would be funny to "nic name" the boys after girls names.
I know one parent politely asked her to stop more then once, which this lady did not. Then upon taking it to the coaches themselves. They blew up at this woman and proceeded to tell her it was just a joke that she needed to "file a comlaint" so upon being transfered in person from one person to another then the female "President of the league" stands up and asks whats going on. She was told, and her reply was, "You as parent should feel lucky your children have these coaches cause no one wanted your team, and I guess you havent been around long enough to know that nic names come with baseball." Issue went unresolved...go figure way to support the very players on your own league Mrs. President!!!!!
When all was said and done the coached then tried to play it off to the boys as though it was another name not the name his wife did use which was heard more then once by several people and including the boys. Wow practice and games are fun now...The boys talk about how much respect they have lost for their coaches. its sad. It should not be about them it should be about the boys playing.

Well agreeing with the president in that baseball is a sport that nic names come with the territory, but when you have a handfull of parents whos sons play baseball and the boys them selves have heard the names being called and they dont like it especially a girls name infront of his friends, other players and so on its wrong. One child said if he is to hear it again he will walk of the field in the middle of a game. Come on Coaches.... this is for the kids not for wifes playtime fun.

I'm very sad that the same policy the parents signed to bring a positive attitude to the game and support the players in a positive way isn't something the coaches and their wives follow.

One more thing I'm wondering how true is it that the lights for the fields are paid by a grant, the signs of sponsors are $1500. board to be shown, and yet players fees are 90.00 per kid with no money going to the umpires...every league I've been part of for over 16 yrs. has the umps. paid atleast 25.00 a game. Then there is closed meetings.....I just dont get it as a parent who participates in this league...

Oh ya and at sign up where did all the money go that was "LOST" between the field and the bank. Hundreds of dollars went missing and only those who wrote checks was sent a letter. which no one has re collected the money form those people.

To many ????????? for this league not to answer.

Lets begin by first calling you liar!
Lie #1 Your conversation with league officials and the responses you received, you see I AM a fellow team parent on YOUR sons team and witnessed the entire situation. The issue was resolved as the president asked the coaches to stop calling your son a FINK, instead of FINKLER for short. The boys dont have a problem using shorter names and nick names but sure seem like you have issues and your are clearing embarrassing your son, OUR TEAM and Pahrump.
LIE #2 As for closed meetings...your out of the loop cause I have attended plenty this year and do every year, if you had you would know things like...close meetings are only held for player issues and disipline.
LIE #2 The funds lost were ALL replaced within a day and any fees incurred by the parents who did stop payments were paid for personally and not through league funds.
LIE #4 The Sponsorships...are you joking!!! Your a absolute fool and clearly not a business owner let alone somewhat intelligent.
LIE #5 Umpire fees...comeon now lets get real. Your talking about adult games, for the kids its a volunteer basis not for people like you to make money so you can go and drink....YES WE CAN SMELL THE BEER ON YOU!!!
As for you comments about the pres, I can only say I have seen her in some difficult situations and she has always been fair and by the book..NOT like some past officials.
YOU SHOULD TAKE A SOBER LOOK AT YOURSELF...FOR YOUR SON SAKE.

Finkler, we are in PAHRUMP NV and my son plays on your sons team. We all know who you are and you need to shut up! Its not about you, its about the kids. Our coaches are great, your sons a whiner and can't play ball...wonder where that came from?

Good idea to blame your problems on everyone else and the pahrump little league. THAT IS REAL PARENTING.

Go back to where ever you came from, Pahrump doesn't need people like you to drag us down.

I read all here and I being a mother on the same team think this is crazy. One I'm Ashtons mom, and Ashton doesnt like being called Ashley that he heard himself. Is he and do I call him other names for short heck ya. Ash, ashton, G-Baby, smiley, short stuff, etc.
This was Ashtons first year and he has done fairly well I'm very proud of him, but he is very unsure he wants to play again because of the drama that was brought on that day and how it has played out putting tension between everyone that is suppose to be support of of the players, parents, coaches, and league staff.
I really think targeting finklers mother regardless of her situation or what she does is wrong not to mention putting her son down...goes to show your definalty in pahrump usa....
#1 you are both wrong she didnt write what was above there are a good portion of us even certain league members themselves who know who it was so again ladies no disrespect but before you attack now the facts.

I enjoyed this season very much minus the drama days and ALL the boys did well. Oh ya one more thing you wanna point the alcohol issue out I know of 2 parents who drink while at their kids's games its sad, but I dont see no one attacking them.... Ladies were done we made it through our team and coaches did great...let it rest.

Well it looks like we have the whole team here now won't the "boys" be proud! I agree with Ashton's mom and applaud her for being the only one to identify herself. This is over let it rest. We do know who wrote it and though I to disagree with most of it yes my son also was called a girls name and that in its self embarrased him. My sons not good at baseball by far but he tried and he enjoyed it! Though your clearly upset at the lies or false facts don't accuse people of alcohol issues, putting down their kids and etc that shows you are no better then the other person. Know you start targeting the parents and children whom gave all but maybe wasn't as good as a 3rd year player and that opens other issues to respond to. Just be adults drop it. IT HAS BEEN RESOLVED ITS DONE AND OVER.
