Doug- we all knew Bret was in some kind of mess with the way he acted about that girl with the Felony warrant the S.O. arrested at the drug house. He knew to much about her and her friends, where they had been and all. There is a lot more but I can't say. It will come out when Bret stands up to face it.

You are right Terri. You can find pot and crack in Chesterfield, Pageland, Cheraw and all over. There is some Crystal Meth too but most of the recreational druggies are scared of it.

Crack is real popular with young blacks. They deal pot, or reefer they call it, to buy crack. There are some crack addicts here that use every day. Most of the crack is coming from I-95 and some from Charlotte. We haven't seen much heroin here but they caught a Mexican last year with a ball of Tar herion stitched inside a baseball.

Bret went to the drug house in Cheraw several times looking for a female they had a warrant on. It started looking funny because when he went she would never be there. When he was on the other side of the county and didn't know they were going to raid the drug house they caught her with a pipe in her hands.

as u can read and see crack is not only popular with young blacks. it knows no race it just consumes whoever will try it.and i am not black i am white and i have seen it on all sides. i don't and never have done meth but i was addicted to a lot of different ones in my day of 30 yrs ago. and i am not nieve to any of the drugs of today eithor. so if we see young kids today doing-trying -buying the stuff then it is also our responsibility as adults - christians or whatever to report it, or if u have any resources help these kids. give them something to keep them occupied.Parents needs to stay more involved in their lives and you just don't see that anymore. So this is just my opinion not sayin that its right but it is mine.

We need a sytem that will stop letting these people go and send them to jail, they know they can get way with it,most of the time it's because of the color of their skin,we might be profiling, get over it break the Law go to jail, our city or paying the price for weak Leadship.

The rehab system is fine and great. The problem with it is...Once is rehab, the person wants to clean up their life....After that it's all about getting away with it.
The system needs to stop pampering these addicts and dealers. Hypothetically... So it's Miss Molly's son. Miss Molly has been an upstanding citizen and donates, does her part. Her son doesn't. Do you honestly think Miss Molly is going to make or break a community if she stops donating? No. Yet Miss Molly's son will. He will rob, get others doing drugs, and make the area unsafe. He knows he can get away with it and his momma will be willing to pay any costs involved.
Others are poor and are willing to do the little bit of time involved. Ever wonder where they come up with the money it takes? I do. I couldn't afford it.
I'm sure officers know who these people are. I'm sure they would like them off the streets. Their hands are tied. Even if the courts get money from these addicts in fines, it doesn't make up for the money and safety of the community. Something needs to change.
This is my opinion.

i guess we are gettin off the subject of the officer a bit, but the other guy david woodward involved with him is still in jail i think. he was a bull rider and roper and drove a big rig and it is very scary to think what could have happened as he was driving while on this meth. i know him or i knew the old david not this one. and he was a good kid. hope and pray that this will be his last bout with this killer stuff.
