old ball theatre in pageland

I groew up in pagelnd and remember the pageland theatre and the ball theatre my uncale worked at the pageland theatre as the projectest back when i remember the ball theatre caught fire sometine in the 50s i remember walking by the old bulding and seeing it .just woundering whats ever happen to the equiment and stuff in these building.is the ball theatre able to stans a theatre again? like woulde it have to be tore down and rebuilt. i know the building is still there .how is the inside? thanks jim

The Pageland Ball theatre is being refurbished and is scheduled to be reopen the fall of 2011. Mackie Nicholson is the present owner and has been updating quite a few properties in the "downtown" area. My hat's off to him!
