Josh Ackerman

Josh Ackerman had fallen asleep at the wheel while coming home from a party drunk. His car went into a ditch and his body was slammed into the windsheld of his 2004 ford mustang. Afterwords he was ejected out of the passanger side door his head hit the ground first and broke every bone in his face and scalped the back of his head. Please people pray for Josh and his family hey layed on a cold empty highway for three and a half hours and he is till alive and trying to fight death please Im begging you people please pray for Josh he has survived through two surgeries one when he got to ammerillo they drilled holes in his skull to realive the pressure from his brain the second time they had to cut two inches off of his skull for more room to swell pray for him please he is still a child to his mother and a strong hold to his little brother.

Josh Ackerman is my cousin. I live in wichita falls but his aunt (my mother) just came back today from Amarillo to see him. And most of those things that you said are not the facts. Its not right to post things on the internet that are not correct.

Hey....I'm going to school with Josh...and believe me when I say.....I'm PRAYING! I got some very disturbing news tonight, and I don't know who you are, but I'm definitely in your corner. He's an awsome kid, and I can't imagine what his family is going through. I love him like a little brother, and right now my heart is broken.

My thoughts and prayers go out to Josh and all of his family! Josh used to be my neighbor and is also a very good friend of my lil brothers. I watched them grow up and play football together. I am absolutely devastated! I can not believe it! He's such a great person and a friend to everyone!
I wish this was a bad dream that I can wake up from! I just hope that he knows how much we all love him and are pullin for him! I will continue to keep praying for he and his family!

i was just telling the facts that i have been told by the fire dept i could be wrong but dont be mad at me i prayed for josh every day and night hopeing that he would pull through and some of the information i got from his mom tamy.

Who know what really truley happend cuze no one was acctually with josh when it happend... but my prayers to the family.. Josh was a great guys.. funny as hell, and great to be around... He will be miss, but we all know that he is in a better place, atleast he dont have to suffer anymore... LOVE YA JOSH!!!

haha i know. but im just saying. most of those things werent the facts. im not upset. i was also praying for him. and i am truely going to miss him. he is one of my bestfriends. he is a hard person to lose in our family.

Josh was my step brother. Our parents were married for 13 years. He has now passed and we will be having his funeral tomorrow on Thursday February 12th at 4p. I would like to thank all of you for praying for him. Just know he will live on in other people.He was an organ donor. And not many of us get the chance to save others as we die and he did. I went and seen josh tonight at the funeral home. It was really hard to see him laying there, it just seems like its a dream, a horrible dream that i wish i could wake up from. There were so many ppl there i dont think josh knew how many ppl really did love him...and how many ppl will miss him... He will always been in our hearts... Great son, brother, cousin friend. We will always remeber the good times in life with him.. Just remeber, life is short, so live it while you can.. He was so young and had alot to live for.. .But he is in a better place now... We love you josh.. and we always will we will carry you in our hearts each and every day..

I dont who put this stuff on here. But it is all false I am Josh's aunt and I think that you need to get your facts straight before posting things like this on here. Josh was a wonderful person very intellagent more so than anyone else I know. Josh may have had a few drinks and had been coming home from a party but, that doesn't mean that he was drunk. Have you ever been down the road in Tell Texas? It has the sharpest curves I have ever seen in my life it could of happend to anyone of us drinking or not. There is no telling weather or not a deer, wild hog ran out in front of him or maybe he was messing with his radio or texting and the curve just came up on him. Thats something we will never know. But his head was not slammed into the window, he was ejected from the vehicle and yes he did have surgeries Im glad that you wanted to have everyone pray for him that means the world to us, but please get your facts straight before you put stuff on the internet. Josh will be missed forever I dont know very many 19 year old kids that had over 500 people at there funeral. He was a great nephew, brother to my other nephews and neice,son and grandson. He will always have a place in my heart that no one will ever take. Just remember to ALWAYS wear your seatbelt we dont if it would of changed anything but it might have. Please keep praying for Frank and Tammy Ackerman and there family and Allen and Tammy Renfro, Shara Votaw and Tanner Zuniga its going to take them a very long time to deal with this. Thanks

Hi. I'm Josh's brother. March 7 we are having a poker run for Josh. I love Josh he was the best biggest brother you could ever have. He was really smart and the best wood cutter we had in the family. He was going to be a really awesome doctor. I'm going to take his place. So thats all I have to say this is his littlest brother. We all loved Josh and we will always love him. We all know he likes his new life in heaven though so don't worry.

i didn't know josh well but in school and in passing he was always a great guy, and i will miss him. i hope his family is doing well and they are in my prayers and my churches.

Josh truely was a great guy, and no matter what happened to cause the accident, everyone should remember him for those good things and not what took him from us.

Tylers request for prayers for Joshuah were very nice but his information was not correct we do not know that Josh fell asleep no one knows what happened as far as being drunk that is not known. He did not go through the windshield at all. He went out the passenger door we do not know where he hit first. This is very graph information that was written by a fourteen year old boy who meant well but got his facts wrong. I am Joshuah's grandmother and I would know.

I wouldn't be blaming tyler for all that he was just trying to help and that's what other people told him so blame them not him Tyler is sweet for caring and I am still praying for his family it was a terible loss
