Not good for Tilghman. 7 in a row for Mayfield. TILGHMAN NEEDS TO GET RID OF RANDY WYATT. Every since he took over Tilghman they have never beaten Mayfield. I can go on and on about how many Goofy mistake They make, an Randy Wyatt is just Brain dead. He can't see it.

White....05 was the last time PT beat Mayfield. Mayfield has now won 7 staight. Randy Wyatt has got to be a very depressed person right now. NEVER beaten the Cards. He potentially cost PT a TD at the end of the first half last night with the sideline warning. He was all the way down at the 5 yd line yelling at the players. Then argued the flag thrown which was not called a penalty just a warning. All they had to do was spike the ball and kick a field goal. Lots of coaching era's from the PT coaches. Look forward to making it 8 in a row next year.
It's been 9 years since they beat MAYFIELD!!! 2003 was the last time!!
Wrong. It has been 7 years not 9. And Tilghman still leads the series.

2005-Tilghman won 18-15. PTHS does lead the series but a lot of games back when this rivalry began were declared ties so both sides would probably consider the team a winner.

Although I am a Paducah Fan, I have to admitt Mayfield has a Better Coaching system. Joe is just like his Dad, A tremendous Coach. Hopefully Tilghman can win next year. But keep in Mind Tilghman still leads the Series.

Oh I am very aware that PT is ahead. LOL!!! But not by much. IMO it starts in the little league system. PT's little league coaches over the last several years have not been good. We teach our kids starting in 3rd grade that they are here to learn football fundamentals. We dont bank everything at winning at all cost. Thats where I think the difference is. You could tell last night that Mayfields fundamentals were head and shoulders above.

This was the 99 meeting. Tilghman leads the series 47-42 with 10 ties. Next year I believe it will be Televise on National TV Celebrating the 100 year anniversity.

Better re-check your stats Thump, 43 wins for the Cards since they won this year.

There is a rumor that there was a couple of games before they started keeping official stats. The first that they kept score was 1911 and that game was a tie so in actuality they have played a 101 games.

The site that I found shows Mayfield with 43 wins this includes this year win and Tilghman with 47 wins, 10 ties and a couple of years with no game so that would probably make the 99th. meeting. Also there has always been an argument over whether this was the 99th. meeting or the 100 meeting. I guess it depends on who one talks with. It would be neat if it is televised and I believe the game would be played in Paducah since they do the every other year thing.
