The country didn't disagree with me. I did not vote for Romney Please, go wait for your handout or the government to come save you.

Well to be in agreement with the MAJORITY of the country you must of voted Obama. My guess is you didn't, so the country did disagree with you. If you did, judging by your rhetoric you were confused on what you believe. And my favorite option: you didn't vote period. Which by default means you gave up your right to an opinion so STFU.

Well, you're wrong again. I did vote The funny thing is that you can tell someone to "STFU" because they will not agree with your liberal ways, but no one has to listen to you. It's sad how much that you want to oppress yourself. I hate that Americans have become such "sheeple" of the government.

You should probably run along, now, down that "shovel ready" highway. Peace out, I'm over this. You can at least argue with a smart person, but there is no point with an idiot.

If you didn't vote for Obama you didn't vote with the majority of the citizens of our country. If you did then I believe you're confused. If you didn't vote at all you gave up your right to an opinion so again I say. STFU.

End of story!
not that I'm agreeing with you or the people that are signing the site to secede from the union but Texas does have a chance if they truly wanted to try. So not end of story

First off the electorial process is a joke. What happened to by the people for the people. How can we decide anything for ourselves if our vote is just a part of the process and not the process it self. If we voted instead of congress we would have a whole instead of two halves. Some like obama some don't. Our people are over seas dying regardless of who is in office. They believe in freedom and fight for it and us. We owe every single one of them a debt of gratitude. They put there lives on the line so we can watch a ball game with our kids, or say how we feel about issues without reprissal from any form of government. They believe in the U.S.A.! SHOULDN'T WE?

ABSOLUTELY Ridiculous!!!!!! Agree with Unity's post. If the state you live in secedes from the union, then as a citizen of said state's we should have the right to vote on secession and the states should be responsible for relocating anyone that doesn't agree with the secession. Then and only then would I vote for such a proposition. One of the most stupid ideas I have ever heard. Plus do you ignorant people that want this realize that it would split the nation and make the U.S. very weak. Sounds like a bunch of ignorant people to me.
The way you're getting personal with people that are simply voicing their opinions as "Free-Americans" is "Absolutely Ridiculous". Calling people "Weak" or "Stupid" divides this Country more than any State Succeeding from The Union ever could. BTW, we're talking about a Federal Government that has bankrupted, taken advantage of the ENTIRE middle-class while lining the pockets of the bankers and elite. Do you really truly think for one single minute that The Federal Government cares enough to save you if we were invaded or attacked???
The federal Government makes individual States weaker, because it's (The Fed) is not only BROKE, but they're STUPID!!!

Ignorance is the word your were going for but I kind of like the word igno-rant - a new take on the word. And the word unified not unify. And just like everyone else that is stating what they believe just as you are. It's freedom of speech. So, state your opinion. But, please state it well. P.S. it's petition.
