There aren't any "real" gangs in Paducah. I grew up in Detroit. I'm so glad to be out of there, but for all these "gangs" here claiming they are this and that, get real. I would love to be able to take all the harda$$ wannabes to Detroit and drop them off in the projects that my cousin lives in. They wouldnt be reppin anything then!

WOW! What logic you have there! To think that only people that have lived or grown up in big cities are the only true "Gansters". Well your not alone in having lived in a larger city. I can tell you I see most of the same stuff going on here that I have seen in other cities. Just that the intelligent "gangs" keep their stuff lower key when in a smaller town. Here's another way to look at in 2009 according to the statistics there were 4 murders in the paducah city limits. Now the national averages their statistics per 100,000. So 4x4=16 per one hundered thousand. Since paducah's populations is around 25,000 last time I checked. Guess what Thats way higher than most large cities with that nefarious reputation you rely on. Detroit is among the nations highest(not the highest though). Just the four murders in paducah is comparable to larger cities without adjusting for the population difference. New York City averaged 6.4 murders per one hundred thousand. So you keep underestimating these small town folks. You don't know what a person is made of until it too late mose of the time. For the record I've seen a lot punk, queers come from so called hard core cities. Put them in the right situation and you will be surprised how often they break weak! In parting. Just so you know, there are 3 nationally known organizations, that are considered by federal law enforcement to be criminal gangs to the equivalant of organized crime syndicates in some articles, that exist and operate in the paducah area. Two of these the Feds have prosecuted for crimes in the last five years. So that would kind of make it hard for you to argue their non existence!

No, that doesnt mean they are "true gangstas". Im just saying all of these little punks, between the ages of 15-35 that are part of the gangs that are in Paducah, such as the Broad Street Goons and Farley, the 270, and the 502 (which use to be western ky's area code, aint shit. Just because they are poor white trash, with their parents locked up because their other family members already snitched on them. Take those panty wearing punks and let them be introduced into a real gang. Not just some gang that the members rob their "best friend". If you want to claim a gang, go see what a real gang looks like. Im talking about being a cold heartless mother%ucker. Shooting a pregnant woman right between her freaking eyes and not thinking twice about it. Just because they steal their moms welfare check doesnt make them hard.

What makes a "True Gangster"? Who says that anybody out here is doing anything different than people in larger cities? Broke as a joke and flippin work to survive and hittin licks on a regular basis. Murders dont happen because people want to kill to be cool. But because the situation calls for it and someone is messing with someone elses money for example. For all the people on here thinking that they are running the streets trying to get a "Gangster" Reputation then maybe you should think again.. Maybe they are just doing what they have to and yall are giving them the reputation just by bashing them. GET REAL

your logic is not accurate. There may be the 4 murders but those are not committed by wanna be gangs. Most are committed by a relative such as husband or wife. In larger cities the majority of murders are committed by gangs. Gangs in paducah is a joke. The only true gangs around here are the hells angels and the outlaws. All these kids running around are just scared punks that think numbers make them tough. They never try to do anything one on one but thats ok with me I'm a war veteran. Green beret. I can handle those punks

I agree with Wrong. There aren't any real gangs around here and thats how I like it. In big cities kids join gangs for survival most of the time. Around here, if a kid joins a makeshift crew, can't even call it a gang, then its because they are scared little bithches that cant stand on their own. Just because a kid and his friends steal a bunch of car stereos doesn't make them a gang. It makes them a bunch of theivin ass little tricks. Bunch of damn wannabe's.

That's your opinion! But your off on it! The statistics aren't broke down by gang related and domestics. The only city I've ever seen do a gang related death toll was LA and that's cause in the early 90's it was just that bad out there. As for your local "gang" knowledge. The outlaws aren't in western Ky. The only three national 1% motorcycle clubs in the area we are speaking of is the Iron Horsemen, Hells Angels, and Sons of Silence MC's. Which the IH and HA have had largely publicized federal cases in the Paducah and mayfield area in the last five or six years. A quick trip to google will display numerous website and news outlets carrying articles about these.

there actually are outlaws around here. I am unfortunate enough to know a couple. they may not have the numbers around here that they once had or that the other groups have but there are still some around. I'm not a fan of any of them. As for the murders in paducah all you have to do is research the stories. I've actually looked at it. There are some unsolved but not really any that are considered gang related. Mostly domestic drug or robbery related. There is really no mention of gang affiliation

The nearest outlaw chapter was in metropolis, which by all input I have says it's folded up as did their Joppa chapter now the next nearest chapter inside ky borders is Bowling Green! None live here in Paducah that are active members! If I were you I would question the integrity of the men claiming this kind of status? As for paducahs breakdown of murders I wasnt questioning whether or not they are gang related! It's irrelevant to the point I was making when I compared the numbers above! My point being that there are killers here just as there are in other cities. Which my next point was you and I don't know how the larger cities numbers breakdown on gang related deaths that was merely your opinion on them having a large percentage being gang activity! Most gangs given the option would divert from violent acts because of the unwanted LEO attention that comes with it. Not to mention the use of gang enhancements coming from the 90's and early 2000's handing down very lengthy prison sentences to gang members for even the slightest assault.

i agree and as for the integrity of the people I know that are outlaws out is unfortunate that I do know them. They are trash and I only know them because my brother worked with them. Its unfortunate that there are any of the above mentioned gangs at all. The good thing about paducah is that its small and if there was any type of gang affiliated violence there would be much more attention from the media and law enforcement than there would be in a larger city were out is common.

Basically gangs are different now days. Ever since founder of the crips tookie Williams wrote a book telling them to get off the streets they are more organised. Now that lawyer representing you, that doctor healing your or even that police officer writing you a ticket could be a gang member. The gang banger that run the streets are more like the wanna get attention parts of the gang. Many gangs send people into the military to get training as well. Now you also got to think Paducah is 6 hours from chicago, 3 from Stl, 2 from Nash 3 from vegans 5 from cincy ect ect ect. Where do you think they send their members to get out of heat when they are in trouble. So yes gangs are real and they are here

LOL if u were broadst. you would really be surprised at how much attention we really get from "Law Enforcement" not trying to be wanna bes and get attention but from living on the streets gettin by anyway we can. We don't ask for attention. People that know nothing about us and the feds gladly give us their full attention. Maybe if you knew anything about us you wouldn't be on topix runnin your mouths and maybe you would say something when you saw us out right?

I find many of these needs addressed by having gainful employment. Then benefits are many. Allow me to elaborate:
1. I draw a paycheck in return for hours worked.
2. With that paycheck, I can buy goods and services.
3. It's not against the law to have a good job.
4. Living on the sreets becomes unnecessary as one can buy or rent a suitable abode with monies earned from his or her job.
5. I don't have to maintain any sort of ridiculous reputation just to keep from getting my sideways hat knocked off of my idiot head.
6. I can purchase pants that fit properly. And a belt.
7. I don't have to deal with the fact that I'm either stupid or lazy or both. Therein lies real peace.
