If u know who lived in the house prior to u, u can look them up on the internet but don't know that u would actually find out if they actually passed away in ur house. Good luck!!

try the courthouse or the public library for previous land owners then research the previous owners you may find alot there.

I'm interested in finding out the same thing but for some reason the public records of my house have been locked. I don't want to ask the neighbors because I don't want them to think I'm weird. I've heard rumors of a little boy dying in my house back in the 50's or 60's.

If your feeling spooked try a cleaning. Burn some sage start at your door and go clockwise stoping at each entryway. Let the smoke of the sage clear the air. Say something to the effect of any negative spirits must leave and only positive beings of the light can stay. You can also burn some black candles believed to absorb negative energy or lemongrass which brings positive in

We live in a small old farm house and I get strange feelings when going upstairs to bed. My toddler cries when her closet door is open even a little bit when i put her to bed. And i see shadows out of the corner of my eyes sometimes. Ive told myself it is just my imagination. Not sure i want to know otherwise. My husband and only i have both lost close friends in the.past year. Ive noticed it more since our friend Frank passed away last March. Will try the sage.

If the house is really old then there is no telling what has happened in the house. Someone dying of natural causes doesen't really hurt the value of a house..but other types of death could. Some people's culture says they can't live in a house where someone has died..but that is such a hard thing to track down..good luck!

The same senerio here, I've been having weird dreams about what is happening to me with spirits and ghosts. Like once when I woke up in the middle of the night and my head just fell to the side of my pillow, like a force. Then I went in the living room to watch some tv cause when I'm alone I feel like the tv is a person lol but anyways I was throwing around pillow looking for the remote when I heard a mans voice say ow....my grandmas house is haunted and she lived in it for about 20 years and all my family says they've seen a spirit, a lady in a white gown and pink curlers. They say she's nice and pretty but I dont do the deceased..

Check out the special collections dept at the library. you would not believe the records they have. or go to pva and pull land records, it will at least tell you who has owned the house since it was built then you can investigate.
