HAS ANYONE BEEN TO "THE STATION" OUT BY THE MALL YET? IS IT ME OR ARE THEY JUST OUTRAGEOUS ON THEIR PRICES? THE BURGER WAS GOOD HOWEVER WE BOUGHT 2 BURGERS AND 2 ORDERS OF FRIES AND IT COST NEARLY $16, NOT TO MENTION WE HAD TO WAIT 20 MINUTES FOR A TO-GO ORDER!!!!! NEEDLESS TO SAY WE WONT BE BACK, ESPECIALLY SINCE WE COULD HAVE GONE NEXT DOOR TO BACKYARD BURGERS AND CUT BOTH THE PRICE AND TIME WE WAITED!!!! WILL BE VERY SUPRISED IF THIS JOINT WILL MAKE IT VERY LONG!!!!

Fastfood joints are expensive even the slow fastfood places. You can eat cheaper at a sit down resturant esp buffets.

If you think applebees is good, then the burger station is probably awesome! No one thinks applebees is good. It's just a place for underage drinking to occur.

ive eaten there now about 5 times. yes the prices are a little higher than your normal burger restaurant, but you cant match quality versus price. i would rather go somewhere where your order is cooked fresh in front of you over cooked and setting there waiting on you any day of the week.

Their "Station Burger" can't be beat! The way they put the bacon IN the burger makes all the difference! No one ever said it was fast food, either. Ever been to Red Robin? That's a burger joint and it's not fast food. Anyway, I love The Station!

I love the place. The price isn't that bad, the food is amazing, and the peoplle working there are really nice. They are a little slow right now, but the place just started, they have to find their groove.

Personally, since I've been there, I've sworn off backyard burger (my former favorite burger joint). My only wish is that they were open on sundays.

I went and checked it out and had my burger and fries in 9 mins. I watched them cook it dress it and make the fries. It is a super clean restaraunt. Everyone is very friendly and lets you know they are glad to have your buisiness. They have been open less than a month and it's a brand new place. I'd say give them another month or soand they'll have so much business they wont know what to do with themselves. It is really neat in there too. Best burgers in paducah hands down! Well worth the 8.87 I paid for the station burger, fries, and drink. 9.00 is nothing to whine about especially when its FRESHand soooo delicious!!!!!

The owner is my uncle and he is really nice. I love the burgers! You can get regular burgers or you can get a station burger.. The station burgers have bacon stuffed in the center if them! If you go get the 402 station burger.. Best burger hands down!

I ate there today for the first time and I think they have some of the best burgers in town! We got 2 burgers, fries, and drinks for $16.xx. You don't have to leave a tip cause u pick up ur order and seat your self. The workers were friendly and I will do back.

I ate there today also. I am in the sales side of the foodservice industry and have assisted in opening several restaurants. The burgers were good, but pricey...but, ground beef prices are at an all time high right now. I thought the workers were very friendly. I waited for about 8-10 minutes, but that is expected in a place that uses fresh, not frozen, patties. Unfortunately, like most buger joints in town....my order was wrong. I didn't realize it until I got on the interstate and opened the wrapper. I ordered a cheeseburger with mayo, tomato and onion and received a cheeseburger with mayo, tomato and lettuce. That was unfortunate but seems the norm for burger joints nowadays.
As far as the french fries goes....well, as weird as this sounds...and if the owners read this, they will understand...I could taste in the fries what a restaurant cooler smellls like. It was as if the potatoes had absorbed a smell from something in the cooler. I watched the guy cooking the fries...he didn't salt them, which is ok, but there was no salt packet in my to go bag. As a matter of fact, my order was waiting on the fries to finish cooking. Using his tongs, he pulled fries out of the fryer four times and put directly in my to go sack. There were way more fries than most would ever eat and the white sack was drenched in grease. I would definitely suggest a fry boat for the fries, wrap them, then put them in the to go sack...and believe it or not...make the serving of french fries smaller.

As far as returning...I am sure I will. I will not get the fries....well, maybe I will one more time to see if I can still taste the smell of the cooler. If do taste it again, I may return for the burger but will stop at McDonald's to get my fries...and, I know to double check my burger to make sure it has what I requested on it and no lettuce! It would be more convenient with a drive thru. However, when I was there, it wasn't too bad busy...no reason for my order to be wrong.

There are alot things I would have done differently had I helped get the restaurant up and going...example...if the soda refills are free, I would have put the soda fountion out where people could help themselves. As I was standing there waiting on my to-go order, people were ordering and people were needing to get refills on drinks, one lady came up and asked for ketchup...all of which seemed to make everything crowded and confusing at the counter..especially with the bar seating right there also.
The overhead menu doesn't show the cost of an order of fries, unless I missed it. And, it would be great if there was something that would tell me what was on each burger as I stand trying to decide what I wanted. I assume an Atomic burger is hot...but the Chief Burger or the Station Chief burger...I have no idea what's on 'em....so I just ordered a cheeseburger the way I liked it.

But my biggest point....this is a locally owned business,so I hope everyone gets out and supports it. It is one of few clean eateries in Paducah. So get out and support the Station. Let the owners know if something could be changed, but by all means, let 'em also know...what you like!!
