For years I went from one crappy doctor to the next and couldn't find one who could be bothered by anything more complicated than high blood pressure. None of them would actually take the time to read up on my symptoms when the diagnosis was not readily apparant. One doctor even fired me because I was just too complicated. Not on any pain or nerve pills (or anything else), just had a few complicated health problems and a major surgery that altered my insides. Long story short, the next doctor I tried was Dr. Tinsley. I was afraid he would be just like the others, especially during the 2nd visit when he said "you're cmplicated". But he listened to me, ran tests until he found answers and has been the best doctor i ever had. He has never even tried to give me narcotics. I am so distraught to lose him. Please give me input on a good family doctor who will go the xtra mile to work with someone "complicated".

Same here..except he did give me pain killers and my quality improved ..I have had thousands upon thousands of dollars worth of tests done but no forgot until Allen has given a crap that I live in pain..oh and I'm not female for those who see him as one sided..he is a good doctor ..just made a bad choice..doctors don't seem to care anymore about their patients and that's so so sad..

Only thing he offerred me is neurontin for my fibromyalgia. It is not narcotic and works well enough for me. Complications from major surgeries and permanent effects from Lyme disease do add up to several uncommon diagnoses. Unfortunately doctors around here don't practice medicine like they do on television, where the doctors research, get together around tables and never give up getting to the bottom of someone's medical problem. Around here they don't want to bothered for more than 5 minutes while in the room with you, then it's out of sight out of mind. But doctor Tinsley is different, and I just don't know if I can find anyone else like him.

Never offered me pain pills either, and I have a diagnosed back and hip issue. I am also distraught to lose him...again. I've followed him from Internal Medicine to Dallas to Comprehensive.

I will never give up on Allen. I just assumed I would have to find someone else until he is back in business. I read that it could take possibly several years for him to get his license back, meaning I would have to have someone else until then. But my pharmacy suggested that his nurse practitioner might be covering for him during this time. I will have to call Monday to find out if that is the case. I certainly hope so. Whatever I have to do while he is out of pocket, he has my full support and I will run back to him just as fast as I can when I hear the news that his door is open again. I want to be first in line even if i have to break my own finger, lol.

How do they know it will be June? From what I read the suspension could last from 3 months to 5 years.

Once he is back in business which could be 3 months or as long as 5 years, if you are a woman you have to have a chaperone when you see him. He can not be alone with any patient that is a woman.
