what do you do when you miss the first hearing and they deny you another hearing? I cannot afford an attorney at this point because I have been off work since October and all my saving is gone! My last letter told me to file in circuit court but they told me I needed a petition written by an attorney that will cost $178.00 to file and $50.00 to serve the employer. Then you will not be guarenteed another hearing? Has anyone ever heaed of this?? Please help!!! The unemployment office is no help and Frankfort will not help! What do you do???

You lost your case by default I would say, and now you have to appeal the judges verdict. Good luck with it. Should be able to appeal on the Internet.

if you were fired for breaking company policy or if you quit, you're gonna be throwing good money after bad.
however, if you were laid off or let go due to reduction in force, or something similar, you should try to appeal. you should be able to find the info on how to do that here: http://www.oet.ky.gov/ui/appeals/page41.asp

i'm in absolutely no way, shape or form trying to be an asshole here, but why did you miss the first hearing? seems like that would be a really important thing?

I missed the first hearing due to miss reading the letter! I understand that is my fault, but everyone deserves another chance. I am searching for jobs but not many open in my field!!

Sounds like it is time to retrain or get some more education.

You are done with it. You have no further options as far as appeals. Move on and do your best to find work. They will not help you at the unemployment office because they can't, other than to search for a job.

Go to every Pharmacy and put in an application and call every week to check in. If you show alot of interest you may get a job. If you just put in apps but don't follow up then they may think you aren't interested. A friend of mine just got a job at Walgreens. Also try the hospitals and maybe Option Care?

pharmacy technical but yet misread the letter. Please tell me where you will be working so I don't take my family there because someone can't read.

Another thing is. There are many businesses hiring but you need to get off your high horses and work in different field in meanwhile. Trashes like you is what making this country bad. Living off government. Bitch McDonald and Walmart is hiring. Go apply there. Oh wait you are too good to work there. If that's the case then stop living off government u trash

You didn't show, not going to look good if by a very slim chance you get another hearing. Its going to cost you alot of money and you probably will not even come close to winning. Like another person said, if you can't read a letter how can we feel confident you can handle a rx?
