AND good riddance to some of the loser employees. Don't start that jealous crap again. Some of you people are just bad and need to move on with the plant (that should have been closed 25 years ago). I know a couple of guys that work out there and they are nothing but criminals. Place lost its integrity years ago.

I lost respect for the place many years ago when the union was on strike. WPSD had a video of the workers on strike, holding up beers and cheering.

I work at the plant. I am leaving and going south for work. Not waiting any longer and tired of the worry. We knew it was coming.

A lot of jobs will remain. Working for the cleanup contractors. The cleanup operations will remain until the end of time.

The clean up jobs pay about $8 an hr. more than the USEC jobs. $34 bucks per/hr.There is going to be bunches of job openins.BUT it is hard work.

I love all of the butt hurt cry babies who couldn't ever get a job out there. LOL. Have fun with your minimum wage jobs while we work for another company who comes in and takes over. Who cares if we have to do clean up? Like Kevlar said, the clean up will last until the end of time!$$$$$$

Perhaps, but many DOE publications have stated that there is no money to D&D the main site for many years. Those buildings will sit and rot like the ones the cleanup contractor has failed to take down for the past 15 years.
