Judged: 1 1 1 talking about how much of a scam it is. Consequently I decided not to purchase the product. At this time several of my coworkers had began to use it and I watched them feel better and lose weight. Losing weight has always been a challenge for me, even with diet and going to the gym on a regular basis. My coworkers kept telling me that I need to give Zija a try. No, they did not recommend I try it just because they sell it. How do i know? Because they aren't distributors of Zija. I was referred to their seller and I received a weeks worth of samples for the smartmix, the xm3 mix, the tea, and the xam pills. Since I was given these samples for free I figured why not. I was instructed to drink the mix in the morning after my daily run and then eat 30 min after. The pill I was told to take midmorning between 10 am and 2 pm. And if I wanted the tea every 3-5 days or so. I started with the smartmix the first half of the week and then switched to the xm3 the second half so I could try the difference and see what I liked better, if at all. I was pleasantly surprised to find how much better I feel! I preferred the xm3 just because of the extra energy boost but I loved the smartmix as well. Just to see if it was really the Zija i went 2 weeks without taking it. It was definitely the Zija. I have more energy and just all around feel better. I'm losing weight which I contribute to a better metabolism and more energy to push myself while working out. No one is saying you can just take Zija and lose weight. Like anything, you have to WORK for it. I wish I hadn't of taken these threads to heart when I first began looking at taking Zija. I could have started feeling this good way before now!! Everyone can call it a scam but us who take it know the truth. And let me entertain the thought that it is a scam, I still feel better both physically and mentally and that alone is worth it to me. Bottom line is it is a personal choice. I just wouldn't be so quick to put it down until you've tried it. |

Forgot to mention, I never ended up buying or
trying the tea. I just get the xm3 mix and the xam pills. If I weren't trying to lose weight I would probably only be drinking the xm3. |

Judged: 1 1 1 On August 17, 2010 the BBB contacted Zija International and requested substantiation for advertising claims which appeared on the company's website and/or in the company's marketing materials. The BBB completed this review based upon the standards outlined in the BBB Code of Advertising which states that advertisers should be prepared to substantiate any claims or offers made before publication or broadcast and, upon request, present such substantiation promptly to the advertising medium or the Better Business Bureau. Through the information provided by the company, some of the BBB concerns were resolved, although other concerns still remained. The BBB requested that the company provide additional substantiation and/or documentation in regards to claims including: "our products work by combining the synergistic effects of Zija's proprietary blend of Moringa, Vitamin B6, Minerals, Cocoa, natural Caffeine and Phenylethylamine, among other incredible ingredients" and "Zija Weight Management products promote a lean body by contributing to the conversion of body fat for weight loss. Our breakthrough formula is designed to enhance thermogenesis, appetite suppression, and weight control". As of January 25, 2012 the company has failed to provide the additional substantiation as requested for the above listed claims; the company has also failed to modify or discontinue the claims so as to meet the voluntary standards outlined in the BBB Code of Advertising. Everytime I ask for scientific proof all I get is testimonials. That is not proof as when you buy in your mind will tell you it is working. I used it for one year and never saw one difference be it weight loss or releif from any aches and pains as the company claims. If a year is not enough proof I do not know what is.

I have done Zija and am not a seller. It works for some and doesn't for some. I didn't lose weight but have a lot more energy than before. All I can say, no one is holding a gun to anyone's head and making them try it. If one doesn't want to then don't. Like all products, it is what one puts into it whether it works for that person or not.

"June 20, 2012 — Health authorities in Australia and New Zealand are warning people to avoid products containing DMAA, a controversial stimulant drug that is an ingredient in hundreds of body-building and weight-loss supplements.
The drug is known to elevate blood pressure and increase heart rate, which could potentially trigger heart attacks and other cardiac problems. There have also been reports of psychological and nervous system disorders after consuming the drug. Manufacturers of DMAA (also known as methylhexanamine or 1,3-dimethylamylamine) claimed that the drug was an extract of the geranium plant. However, the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) has determined that DMAA is a synthetic drug, and therefore an illegal adulterant in dietary supplements. They sent warning letters to 10 manufacturers of DMAA products. The U.S. military has also banned sales of DMAA on military bases." http://www.schmidtlaw.com/australia-new-zeala... |

Judged: 3 3 2 That is not at all how it works. Perhaps it would be best to get an education on what you are talking about before you comment. |

It works, it doesn't work. It's "all natural,"...so is marijuana. Take it or don't take it, it's a free world. But the company is set up like a pyramid scheme like Amway and similar companies.
