The story in the comments of the autistic child's mom was heartbreaking. This company is just plain EVIL.

Honestly, I was very skeptical to try Zija. I didn't want to waste money on a product that doesn't' do what it claims and I definitely didn't want to waste money on something that was just a scam. I started to look around online for anything I could find on it and found a lot of threads like this only
talking about how much of a scam it is. Consequently I decided not to purchase the product. At this time several of my coworkers had began to use it and I watched them feel better and lose weight. Losing weight has always been a challenge for me, even with diet and going to the gym on a regular basis. My coworkers kept telling me that I need to give Zija a try.

No, they did not recommend I try it just because they sell it. How do i know? Because they aren't distributors of Zija. I was referred to their seller and I received a weeks worth of samples for the smartmix, the xm3 mix, the tea, and the xam pills. Since I was given these samples for free I figured why not. I was instructed to drink the mix in the morning after my daily run and then eat 30 min after. The pill I was told to take midmorning between 10 am and 2 pm. And if I wanted the tea every 3-5 days or so. I started with the smartmix the first half of the week and then switched to the xm3 the second half so I could try the difference and see what I liked better, if at all. I was pleasantly surprised to find how much better I feel! I preferred the xm3 just because of the extra energy boost but I loved the smartmix as well. Just to see if it was really the Zija i went 2 weeks without taking it. It was definitely the Zija. I have more energy and just all around feel better. I'm losing weight which I contribute to a better metabolism and more energy to push myself while working out.

No one is saying you can just take Zija and lose weight. Like anything, you have to WORK for it. I wish I hadn't of taken these threads to heart when I first began looking at taking Zija. I could have started feeling this good way before now!! Everyone can call it a scam but us who take it know the truth. And let me entertain the thought that it is a scam, I still feel better both physically and mentally and that alone is worth it to me.

Bottom line is it is a personal choice. I just wouldn't be so quick to put it down until you've tried it.

Forgot to mention, I never ended up buying or
trying the tea. I just get the xm3 mix and the xam pills. If I weren't trying to lose weight I would probably only be drinking the xm3.

I hate to jump in on argument, but I wanted to state that there are quite a few reports of negative reactions with Zija- as with ANY product out there, so no one can say that there are NONE. I was very eager to get my Zija. I have had a few friends really loosing weight on it. Well, although I am not one to be allergic to anything, this product has made me very sick. For three days, I have taken it, then become nauseous within a few hours, and proceeded to get sick for a few hours at time. I thought maybe it was just taking a toll getting into my system because so many people are saying how great it is and that there are not often adverse effects. Upon my visit to my doctor today, she said that this is something that not a lot of effects have been reported and of course having a B.S in Marketing am well aware that companies brain wash their sellers who may or may not have any kind of idea of what the product is all about. These Marketers also spend a lot of time on the Internet making testimonials, ads, etc. to over-ride anything negative that could come through or at least push those comments to page 2 of Google (which most of us never even get to, right?) I find it peculiar that I continuously read the same statement: "I'm off all my blood pressure medicines, free of sinus/allergy medications, etc." I do know that I have seen people loosing weight on it, but for my personal self, I threw up for three days straight. The doctor and medical reports that I have been able to dig up state that it may be an overload of amino acids for your body, which can make you feel very sick. Well, it did for me. I am glad that I learned this off of a sample pack and not a $200 investment nor some "ability" to become a seller. America needs to truly learn all about the ideas behind Marketing gurus- it's amazing what you can sell! I can't knock Zija, but I can put a comment out there that it DOES have side effects and CAN be very bad for some people. Excuse me, I have to go get sick now, again, until I can get this stuff out of my system. I am just going to order a Moringa Plant supplement. Zija boasts all about the Moringa Plant so much, so why not just go straight to the plant? It is supposedly the plant that "sells" the product and is the "key" to long sustainable life. That's right, you can't Patton a plant because if you could, then these large money companies could buy up the plant and make products like this which would enable you to get the product clearly and on it's own. Zija is good for some, but not so much for others is our conclusion. You'll have to try for yourself. Do sample pack first! Don't get excited and buy whole kit.

Advertising Review
On August 17, 2010 the BBB contacted Zija International and requested substantiation for advertising claims which appeared on the company's website and/or in the company's marketing materials. The BBB completed this review based upon the standards outlined in the BBB Code of Advertising which states that advertisers should be prepared to substantiate any claims or offers made before publication or broadcast and, upon request, present such substantiation promptly to the advertising medium or the Better Business Bureau.

Through the information provided by the company, some of the BBB concerns were resolved, although other concerns still remained. The BBB requested that the company provide additional substantiation and/or documentation in regards to claims including: "our products work by combining the synergistic effects of Zija's proprietary blend of Moringa, Vitamin B6, Minerals, Cocoa, natural Caffeine and Phenylethylamine, among other incredible ingredients" and "Zija Weight Management products promote a lean body by contributing to the conversion of body fat for weight loss. Our breakthrough formula is designed to enhance thermogenesis, appetite suppression, and weight control".

As of January 25, 2012 the company has failed to provide the additional substantiation as requested for the above listed claims; the company has also failed to modify or discontinue the claims so as to meet the voluntary standards outlined in the BBB Code of Advertising.

Everytime I ask for scientific proof all I get is testimonials. That is not proof as when you buy in your mind will tell you it is working. I used it for one year and never saw one difference be it weight loss or releif from any aches and pains as the company claims. If a year is not enough proof I do not know what is.

I had a friend who wanted me to try the Zija Smart Mix. I'm nice and agreeable so I tried it. Afer five weeks, I had my annual physical and blood workup. I am 61 and my blood glucose has been slowly rising over the past ten years starting at 91 and going to 98. This year it was 84. My total cholesterol levels have dropped from 236 to 212. I have not been doing anything different other then the Zija. I do think it is overpriced, and that is the only thing that I don't like about Zija.I am not affiliated with Zija in any way.

I also was persuaded to try Zija by a friend after seeing his success. I was skeptical, but after 3 months on the product, I have lost 22 pounds. The only change I've made is Zija. It's not for everyone, but I certainly love it and would recommend it. Just my useless 2 cents!

I have done Zija and am not a seller. It works for some and doesn't for some. I didn't lose weight but have a lot more energy than before. All I can say, no one is holding a gun to anyone's head and making them try it. If one doesn't want to then don't. Like all products, it is what one puts into it whether it works for that person or not.

"June 20, 2012 — Health authorities in Australia and New Zealand are warning people to avoid products containing DMAA, a controversial stimulant drug that is an ingredient in hundreds of body-building and weight-loss supplements.

The drug is known to elevate blood pressure and increase heart rate, which could potentially trigger heart attacks and other cardiac problems. There have also been reports of psychological and nervous system disorders after consuming the drug.

Manufacturers of DMAA (also known as methylhexanamine or 1,3-dimethylamylamine) claimed that the drug was an extract of the geranium plant.

However, the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) has determined that DMAA is a synthetic drug, and therefore an illegal adulterant in dietary supplements. They sent warning letters to 10 manufacturers of DMAA products. The U.S. military has also banned sales of DMAA on military bases."

Definitely a pyramid scam. I have a very good friend that got into it. If you get five people below you, you then become a "distributor". Typical pyramid scam!
That is not at all how it works. Perhaps it would be best to get an education on what you are talking about before you comment.

It works, it doesn't work. It's "all natural,"...so is marijuana. Take it or don't take it, it's a free world. But the company is set up like a pyramid scheme like Amway and similar companies.

Here is a great discussion topic. People who sit behind the safety of their computers will tell anyone anything, but if they were face to face they would smile and agree so as to not have a confrontation b/c they would probably pee their pants and then their mom would have to wash them and place them back in their dresser for the next time they get to go play D & D at their friends moms house as well.

Daily Horoscope for May 21

Aries

Someone is being very informative and helpful, especially if you want them to explain something that you don't understand, so listen carefully to what they tell you. This is also a great day for making some travel plans, perhaps by arranging to visit a friend you haven't seen in a while or by discussing where you should take your next holiday.
