Looks like the list is out. No doubt dominated by Lone Oak. http://www.westkentuckystar.com/News/Local-Re...

What are the kids going to do that can't make the cut...move out of the county?

All good choices. Lone Oak dominates football and volleyball. Heath dominates soccer. Reidland dominates, well, nothing in the fall. But McCracken County did a good job with these hires. All within the county!

Great coaches chosen no doubt. Gonna favoritism for lone oak by all means, there will be children doing without sports that are involved now. It's very sad but true. Sports keeps alot of students heads held high. Now there will be more disappointment with this new school. Funny how archer was pushing it and pushing it. Got it, made the money on his land and retires.he will be the one with the last laugh while parents take the bullshit along with the children.

In my opinion they should have hired Steve Duncan from Murray as football coach. Haskins is great but is about ready to retire. When he does, this whole process will happen again. Duncan will build a strong program and will teach the team to become men instead of the thugs that many of Haskins players are becoming.

Haskins kids are thugs because he has recruited from other schools JUST to play the game. He doesn't care about those boys and he doesn't demand their respect. Rumor is that Haskins is going to stay at the high school for one maybe two years to get the program established and then retire. Hopefully his recruited players will decide to go back to their own school districts and make room for our boys that actually live in McCracken County.

I thought the coachs hired are great coachs & great people. It does provide opprotunity for many. If that was the decision of the majority great but for Archer & Goode solely to retire & make $$$$ off it is sad & selfish & wonder how they sleep knowin they made that decision for their personal gain & affected so many. They r both despicable men!...educate people & get them to see your vision if that is the case but it obviously was not. Both pushed through what they wanted for their gain & left @ the "right time" for that to happen for them.

They're announcing coaches for each sport during that season. This is just fall sports only. They'll announce basketball, baseball (probably Coach Miller at Lone Oak), softball (probably Coach Hayden at Reidland), tennis (Coach Heflin at Lone Oak) during the winter and spring. GO MUSTANGS!!

Surely your joking. Haskins is Hands down the best Choice. Every program he took over has really improve. He won the State with Heath. Took Lone Oak Twice to the Championship game. Although Lone Oak lost, they had a great season those years. Haskins said he will do it as long as possible. The Girl Volleyball Coach was also a good Choice.

I like Jack Haskins, great choice. However I was kinda surprised that they wouldn't want someone younger that wasn't close to retirement age,Just sayin.
