I've heard that as well.

The company down the river from them, National Maintenance, is no better though...they'll fire you if you get hurt on the job too. I can say that for a fact 'cause I personally know of two people it happened to. One of those people I know very well.

As was stated, you're just a number there. There are quite a few horror stories out there about them and National Maintenance.
I'm glad you're being treated well there, I just hope, for your sake, it stays that way. Good luck to ya!:)

If you look online and in the paper they seem to always be hiring. If someone is always hiring and not growing into a Massively Huge company, it has been my experience there is a reason they are always hiring, and it typically isn't a good reason.

If you cannot even spell James, I highly recommend you DO NOT go build barges that, could put peoples lives in danger. Stay with a career that more suits you and keep making those french fries there partner.

Bunch of deadbeats and scrubs there. I have more respect for 40 year old McDonald's managers than these folks. Dropouts, druggies, and degenerates run amok there...but convicts and failures need work too, since we won't execute them.

I was hired to run a boat for Paducah River Fuel Service and started to work the day one of the tankermen spilled some Diesel fuel as he was loading the fuel flat.
He never met me until he came back from his days off and figured that he was about to be fired if they hired a new man already.Little things started happening, like disappearing paperwork from massive fuel deliveries, someone uncoupling fuels hoses after they'd been inspected and the fuel transfer had begun,to make me look bad by people afraid for their jobs due to their own incomptence.
So,I got backstabbed out of my job by unlicensed deck crew even though I was intended to replace a pilot that PRFS/James Marine was planning to force into retirement.
I wouldn't work for James Marine if the alternative was jail and I told them so in a letter that went to C Ronald james himself.
I bet that spoiled his whole day.
