I would like to thank the Fort Morgan Middle School staff, faculty, and students, as well as the community members from Fort Morgan and Sterling, for honoring my brother in such a touching way. Please know that the kindness you have shown my family during this time has been greatly appreciated. It is my hope that this tragedy has opened the communities’ eyes to the dangers of drinking and driving. I hope and pray that no other family will ever know the hurt and pain that we have and no more innocent victims will be killed at the hands of an irresponsible person. Thank you again for this touching memorial, and please remember to exercise responsible drinking.
