My great great grandfather Edward Evans emigrated from England to a farm at Rock Lake Trevor Wi in 1885. I belive his son Will was still farming there in the 1930s. Both are buried in the Liberty Cemetery. Is anyone able to tell me exactly where the farm was?

The plat maps are available at the county web page or at the historical society. They have the names of the owners written within the borders of their land. I'd try looking at that first and perhaps you will find it yourself. Good luck

write to [email protected] and make a request for a look up of the info that you are asking for ... WESTERN KENOSHA COUNTY HISTORICAL SOCIETY Ask also for other EVANS family members.
SUpply an email address. They do not have the time to look for your email address. I know this to be true. There are Many ages of Plat Maps Which are only guides and are NOT legal documents. For many, they are just directories for the farmers, pre telephone and sales tools for farm sales. Often the house and barn structures are noted on the maps.
EMAIL them and be as forthcoming with info (even with a mini genealogy chart showing other names linked to evans) as you can and I think you will be happy with the results.
