I have a brother that lives in Pacolet, SC, with his wife & there 4 children. They have a problem there with wild dogs. They have called there local Animal Control, & they have set traps. What good has this done, it has done no good. My brother's wife has a cast on her arm because, she was outside and the wild dogs were out there &, she was injuried while running away to get into her house before they attacked her. Their children's age's are 9,7,3,& 1. I want to know when something will be done about this, after one of the kid's are attacked and possibly fatally injuried. Will the death of someone be enough for someone to do something? Or will the problem just continue to be ignored. If there is anyone in Pacolet that shares this problem, I urge you to speak up before someone is hurt. You can post comments to me personally at my e-mail at sunshinelwr@yahoo.com. Thank You.

Wild dogs aren't the only problem here in Pacolet...I've been seeing coyotes around my house lately. I live near Hwy 176 and Deerwood Dr., and we had one come right up to the house in the daytime. It had run my two dogs up onto our back deck, and that is quite unusual. I shot it with a .22 rifle, and though I did hit it, I'm not sure if I killed it. I never found it, but we've seen at least two coyotes together prior to that. I'm worried it may have had rabies.
