Hmmmm, This is nothing more than a game to you? You are one of those people that make up sh*t for people to feel sorry for you. I bet you even hurt your children/child and take them to the emergency room for the attention! What a sorry piece of sh*t you are!
You are a lair, ignorant pathetic excuse for a human. You really need to get Psychiatric help cause you are delusional, unstable, has multiple personalities and stupid.
You are a loser and total FREAK! LMAOAYI
GAME OVER!!!!!!
Actually idiot you're WRONG once AGAIN! God I hope you've stopped 'helping' the children. You're a crazy and sick person to think the way you do. Grow up! Understand that some of us KNOW that the State can and does take other actions then what you've stated. Go look up the records!!!!!!

<quoted text> Ok see if I am getting what ABB is not. You are basically saying that any family member whho does not have a history of abuse (in this case the grandparents are being discussed) should have the right to foster and take the child in instead of putting them in a strangers home? I am trying to sort out some of this but it gets a little confusing on her part.
She said that Grandparents have NO rights in this state. I actually half AGREED with her..saying that I know Grandparents can't go to court and get visitation rights, but in a case LIKE this one Grandparents can be given custody. I even agreed that custody is determined after the home visit. She said I was wrong. Only problem with that is the FACT that court records prove HER wrong. The fact that she won't check into it and assume she's 100% right is an ongoing issue.

She stated that Grandparents, Aunts and Uncles SHOULD be in a childs life to have that 'family' thing going and that's best for children. I said NOT always. Then she wanted to argue that and I had to go and explain it to her in DETAIL. It wasn't until AFTER I went into detail that she changed her tune on that one.
One would think that if she is a 'voice' for abused children that such wouldn't have to be explained.
All I have been trying to get her to understand is that the State of SC can not be judged by Spartanburg and Greenville. Towns, Counties and Cities tend to 'play' by their own rules and that too can be proven.

That's what I was saying too. I don't know why people want to argue with a logical statement like that, but the world is full of the mentally challenged.
Read the above and then go back to the beginning of all of this. She wanted to argue her assumptions against proven facts.

My wife and I went to court to get temp custody of our grandson. We had drug test done,(came out clean), have no criminal record, and my wife was licensed though DSS for home care. We were going to take care of him until the mother of the child got out of jail and got her life back in order (she wasn't our child). The child went to the great grandparents (not grandparents), because her mom and step dad came out positive for crack). The g- grandparents were 70 years old and couldn't chase after a crawling baby. Because my son wasn't married to the mother and didn't want to be with the mother (who by the way was arrested for selling and using meth), the childs mom didn't want us to have temp custody so we didn't get him, not even visitation.
The courts told us in Richland and Lexington County that we have no rights to even see our grandchild if the mother didn't want us to. There didn't even have to be a reason. Long story short, grandparents have no rights.

First off I'm sorry for what you had to go through and may even still be dealing with. Second, I stated before my parents (Grandparents) WERE given custody of my 2 nephews in Lexington county. I've also stated that cases, situations and people are different that would include judges. I will tell you that the judgement in your case has happened before..custody to 70 year olds. The EXACT reason as to why a judge thinks 70+ year olds should be running behind babies/toddlers is beyond me. I also question why the judge did not give custody to your son.

I hope things are better now.

I'm glad to see I'm loved but this is crazy! I'm tired of changing my 'name' for these forums.

Sam, you should be in class! That's where your parents are paying for you to be. Stop following your sister up, she's not all there.

Jennifer(ABB), just stop already! You will never be me. I would love to know what I've done to deserve so much attention from you though. Its time you stop thinking about me so much.

WTH, the real ABB did have a f-up childhood but not to that exstint(sp?). Please don't take this the wrong way but that is really none of your business. I really hate that someone put some things out there that 'it' shouldn't have. I will let you know that I am perfectly happy, healthy and live a normal life. Thanks for your concern.

Thanks ABB.
As for our grandchild, he isn't in our life (he is now 4, haven't seen him since he was 11 months). He is now living with his mom who just had another baby (dont know who the dad is). The child is bad, and she is still doing drugs. Go Figure.

I am sooo sorry. You sound like a good person who was trying to do the right thing. The laws need to be changed.

I know Elizabeth Edwards she is one of my friends, and i have watched her with sarha, and she would never harm her child! Elizabeth loves Sarha with her heart. Elizabeth has watched both of my children alone and never hurt either of them! She always makes sure that Sarha has everything she needs, even if she has to call me for a ride so that Sarha can get to the Dr. or hospital that to me says she loves her daughter and would never hurt her! Elizabeth is the best mother that know, no matter what anyone says!

Thank you for your time.
