Where is the child's Mother? Why was he in the driveway alone? What irresponsible person would let a 2 year old out of the house alone. They BOTH should be charged and the child put in protective custody.
Are you crazy

I don't even let my 2 yr. old grandson on the porch without being with me or his mother. Thank God this little angel didn't die!

I am not understanding this article. A man pulls into his driveway (not realizing he had run over something, or actually, someone - his child) because he is DRUNK!. Did the child get out of the car and then he was run over? Because if that was not the case, where was the person responsible in watching the child? Were you that drunk that you did not feel that you ran over anything when you were parking? And then you get into the house. Not wondering where his child is? Is there no one in the house looking for this child or was no one realizing that a child is missing? AND THEN TO TRY TO GET BACK INTO A VEHICLE TO GO SOMEWHERE AGAIN (You weren't drunk enough to stay home?)!!! It was a miracle however that this child is still alive! Question. You state that "he did not realize what he'd done until he got back into his vehicle and began backing up" did he hurt Gage further before he realized what he had done? Is that why he is in critical condition? What was it ? The first blow, or the second? And who cares if his phone is unlisted and if we are unclear if he has a lawyer because he should not have been released from jail in the first place! Another question. Thank you for letting this man free so he can drink and drive and maybe kill some other kids before his trial. Oh, by the way, what was his bail? Will it be as much as a parent would have to bury a child?

And by the way, what are the consequences of the person or persons responsible for Gage, who obviously was not being watched while his father was out getting drunk?!
