Doris, just shut up, you completely devolved this thread. You cost yourself more votes with this kind of inane garbage than you gather. Your mouth runs 24/7 no one cares what you say or do, have you noticed not one single person has been on here defending you. Please go to the city council room and sit quietly and wait for the next council meeting, but please leave us alone.
Walt, you sure are obsessed with her. Guess you think the only one capable of writing anything resembling common sense is her. There are many more out there. You can fool some of the people all of the time, all of the people some of the time, but not all of the people all of the time. People are getting wise and they won't be fooled routinely.
Then there are people like the peanut brain and letusnamenames who cannot let people participate in topical discussion without screwing it up by posting their inane BS and taking things off track.

Keep on Track, I was responding to the first couple of pages on this thread, I did not realize until after I posted that this thread was now 58 pages long. As far as being obsessed with Doris, you have got to be kidding me until today, I have NOT thought about her since the election. That's the fact Jack!

Don't bring me into this discussion. Seems like you are obsessed with me. This is a discussion I have not been a part of by choice and yet you drag my name into it. Who is obsessed with who?

Seems like there are several out there tired of Doris' crap...and more than one person with high opinion that she is "remember when". I think she may have given herself away....yet again. I will bow back out of this discussion again.

You have to realize that they think anybody that mentions her name is obsessed with her and then you get called crazy and start in with the personal attacks. Guess she doesn't realize that those things whether from her or one that associates with her doesn't get you elected.

Watch out, she might post on her Mayoral Facebook page that she is scared of you and that you're acting crazy and to submit sunshine request to find out how many times the police have been to your house.

We need to get back on track; this thread has nothing to do with Doris.

And yet I was mentioned and you don't say the thread isn't about me. Seems like a double standard, doesn't it?

She want's to have the last word on every thread on here. It must all be about her, no one can carry on a discussion without her butting in and claiming it for her own. She has been referred to frequently as an attention ho. She sure lives up to her moniker.

And yet I stayed away until you pulled me in to attack me (you claiming it for your own), yet again. Go find something useful to do with yourself and leave the rest of us alone. This thread is about the school.

Amen '77! Can we all please get back to working together to get Dianne fired and the remaining BOE incumbents tossed from office? There are a lot of electrons out there on other politically related threads just dying to be used. PLEASE go oblige them!

There are certainly qualified administrators in this district that also understand that the Superintendent position is one of supreme sacrifice and service. I know some personally, many people do. It will take years to rebuild the trust. The staff as a whole is tired of all the camouflage and the public is too.

Can you find a single thing wrong with wanting actual character to reside at the top position at Fox? Dr. Critchlow is a politician, not a very good one in my opinion, but a politician none the less. Heck even her opponents recognized her political savvy and were happy about it when she pulled off the bond issue. Like all politicians her main objective is to retain what she has. You don’t like that? Look at the facts!

It is way worth whatever the cost to begin the healing process of this district and community. You are paying such a greater cost in the inequality of life in the very people that the public drops their kids off to everyday. The toll it takes includes frustration, fatigue, hopelessness, a “why bother” attitude. That hurts productivity! In this particular business that in turn affects children. You can jump up and down all day long and tell me the proof of a successful district is in the test scores and I will tell you that you do not even see half of the picture. Even those teachers that work really hard at keeping that discontent out of the classroom cannot filter it out of their lives. Everything runs downhill, even if the entire administration and board (new and old) deny it. The discontent and fear did not just magically appear in hundreds of disgruntled employees. It came about because of the unfair practices that the current group displays.

I say it is more than worth it!

Right, for a 3 year contract that will cost tax payers over $750,000.00 plus you still need to hire a new Sup at about $200,000.00. So are tax payers willing to dole out about 1 million to change Sups. I for one am not.

We need to talk with the BOE and get them to make changes. They have started making some under Mr Smith but we need additional ones made soon.

It's all about agendas, and trust me, the new board members have them just as much as any board members in the past. Leave well enough alone!

Why was holloway allowed to vote on a contract that benefitted his family?

I do not believe that board members need to abstain from voting on salary, they need only to abstain from directly voting to hire an individual family member. If I am wrong, and the board should have abstained, then Palmer should have formally declined to vote as well.

You are right. If they could not vote on salaries then they would not have a 4 member majority to get any salaries passed...lol. I think all have members working for the district(not sure about Kroupa?).

Looks like nepotism is a pretty big problem if that is the case.

Usually people run for the BOE when they have an "interest". Either they are already involved with a spouse or child and want to get on the board to make a difference. After all, it is a lot of headaches and time and for NO PAY. So, that is why you get people running for the school board that already have a relative or more in the schools. They then hear of opportunities like other people do in other businesses and "know" a relative that will be "perfect" in that job. It happens all the time, EVERYWHERE. The new board president, Dan Smith and the BOE, has finally seen the real problem with some of this in our district and put a policy in force that will prevent some of the nepotism from occurring going forward.

It prevents the nepotism for board members, but what about the superintendents family problem?
