Oh yeeeaaaa we got us a overweight deep frying queen in charge of the lunch program. For that kind of money will we be getting visits from Ronald Mcdonald once a month ?

So let me get this straight our kids and the whole program suffers for 2 or 3 years till this high school grad gets a edge a ma cation.
Who is exactly footing the bill for this ? Is it salary plus schooling ?

Her and Nash need to be removed immediately !!!
Well and everyone else on that board that is scratching each others backs . A blatant disregard for the law.

It takes longer than 2 years to get a degree in nutrition. The certificate that she may take will be an online test that your gnc or supplement super store or personal trainers could take. The SNS certification is school nutrition specialist, which does not test over the USDA guidelines or nutrition, rather it's about budget and management roles. So either way you look at it, she will not know nutrition like the RDs who were looked over. Looks like school food will be as nutritious as McDonalds.

Don't blame Linda Nash for her daughter in law being hired. Blame the other board members that voted for it. Anyone would try and get their family a better paying job. This is nothing new in the Fox C 6 district. relatives are hired on a regular basis and given promotions on a regular bases. They also have affairs on regular basis. Hold on to your panties people but nothing is going to change. It has been done this way for years. The problem I see with it is not one of them had the guts to face the media. All they needed to do was say "hey we hired her kid because we know she is a hard worker, she is in our "family" her at fox and we believe her attitude alone will be a benefit to this job. " end of subject. But instead the newpaper calls and they say "it had nothing to do with who she was." Bull!!!!!! Then they said "they couldn't recall if any of the other applicants had their certifications." Bull!!!!!!! Then good ole Elliott Davis rides into town and some poor girl gets thrown under the bus to do the dirty work and makes herself look horrible at the cost of management. If your going to make decisions that are at the very least questionable then at the very least have the balls to stand up for that decision.

Is it true that the C-6 board has hijacked Linda Nash's brain to transmit hermaphroditic lasagna recipes?
soooo what can be done

Does anyone know what can be done about this situation, if anything? Who do you contact? Fox claims there is no nepotism in the district, and they even have a policy in the employee handbook that states there is a hiring policy to guard against nepotism. Wish I had it in front of me now to give the regulation number. I can understand getting your friends and family hired into a position; but really now, the board president's daughter in law in an administrative position? I do not know how they can actually sit there and say that Nash was the best person for the job. I worked at McDonalds when I was 16, guess I should have applied for the job and given Nash a run for her money. Merry Christmas Nash kids, mommy can afford to buy you a great present this year.

Now is the perfect time to start thinking of how to get rid of the board members. Vote everyone out! We need trustworthy people that won't succumb to Crichlow and her goons.

We as taxpayers pay for this, looks like about 30,000 over what is normally paid for an outsider with a degree! The Board needs to go along with
Critchlow and whoever else decided this Lady was the Best for the Job!Im thinking Attorney General or whatever Agency Investigates this Nepotism!

The school district hasn't laid off a single teacher throughout these difficult times. Rockwood will be laying off more than 15 teachers soon. NEA knows that teachers have it good here. It isn't perfect, by any means, but it isn't a bad place to work.

What does the school district not laying off a teacher have to do with the district superintendent's boyfriend, now husband climbing up the ladder during their courtship or the board president's daughter in law scoring a $40,000 per year leap in income for a job she is not qualified to hold?

Apparently you must be related to one of the administrators, board member or maybe one of the employees benefiting from the decisions being made. However HaHaha this is no laughing matter.

Mrs. Critchlow looked mighty nervous on the news. Claiming the school district takes pride in hiring thier own. She should have added breaking up families of their own also. They must be proud of that also because it runs in the Fox C-6 district also.

Well I'm going to agree with you. It will suffer much longer than the two years provided. Elliot stated that 20 other applicants were passed over. You can't convince me others did not have better qualifications than the only know how is to push a button to stop the frying process.
Our children deserve far better than this.
Sad sad...she won't even know which pan to use for what.
Can you only imagine the deer in the headlight stares she is going to receive from those that have been there for years with more experience.
Who really is going to do her job....until she eh....catches on ?
I think tax payers should demand this be taken back to the drawing board and pres. Nash should resign immediately. If she is in charge of this , god only knows what else she is capable of.

All you folks using "for the kids" "for the kids" on the last bond issue. Well we see now how important the "KIDS" are don't we. Their lunch program just went to hell in a basket.
Oh and is is true that the administration offices are getting new face lift ?? That's just what those partying ass clowns need.
Let's see...we got a hoochy for a super, a undesirable hubby , unethical pres., unethical electrician , peeping tom/ STALKER, etc. etc.... the list goes on an on. Filling the system with the same.

What I don't understand is why you folks keep allowing it and voting them in ????
I for one am glad the spot light is directly shining on them.
They have been getting away with it far to long !!

Just curious--how much HR experience did Todd Scott have before Fox? How can there be 12-20 applicants where some were already RDs with certificates and experience (reading posts from others) and Linda's DIL be more qualified? Why was the job description written with the 2 year exception unless they already knew that they were going to hire her? Who's going to do the qualified work while she's going to school the next 2 years? Maybe they should have been offered the job and sent to school on the taxpayer dollars (if they don't have their certificate already). The nepotism doesn't bother me as much as the lack of experience for such an important position affecting our childrens' health. Do the other asst. superintendents have pre-Fox experience in their fields (other than education degrees)?

You guys will be even more mad when two years down the road, Nash's daughter-in-law doesn't have her certificate. This is purely speculation, but I donít think she will have the time to complete the necessary requirements within the next two years. Then, all the district will need to do is file for an extension with the department of education. As long as it shows that she is working towards the requirements, she doesnít have to actually have them by the time they are required.

I called DESE today, they said they are aware and looking into this! I expect my hard earned tax dollars to go to Teachers and Staff that are qualified with a Degree! I wonder if any non-certified Teachers or Staff are employed?

I think the entire thing is just hilarious!! Diane and her gang of 7 has been called out, finally, for the rampant nepotism in the district. I think this just may be the beginning of a larger pot of stew that is brewing.

Really, how many employees in the Fox C-6 District are related to Diane Critchlow, have been hired or promoted since she started, and how much taxpayer money are the walking away with every year? In addition, there are an awful lot of employees that aren't related to Diane, but have relatives in the district. I believe that when this is actually investigated and the numbers come in, some of you will be SHOCKED at the percentage. I believe that in comparison to other school districts in our state, it will be obnoxious.

I just looked on Stltoday.com and found out that the total take last year for 4 Salsman's and 3 Critchlow's was $664,465. That's a lot of $$$$.
