This is Old Bend Bridge. It is over the Meramec, by Grimms farm. Goes from Pacific (Hwy N or far west side of Congress, what ever you want to call it.), to Cattawissia.
This is a really old Photograph, I can remember being in the car and going over it when I was little. it was really a scarry brdge to cross them. Not so bad now since it was re built.

Is there a bluff on the other side of this bridge? If so I remember this one very well. My drivers ed teacher made us cross it....laughing at us the whole way.
Girl I knew wrecked her car on that bluff...she was never right after that. Lost most of her memory after laying in a coma for weeks.

Initially I thought it might be Bend Bridge, but look closer at the background. Also, it says upthread it was taken in March 08.

So Sorry- your right, I blew the pic up and after looking closer it almost looks like the old brunges bridge, between robertsville and londell off of west linda lane. Still hard to say I may take a drive out there later on and look.

Does it look to anyone like one of the old bridges in Labadie by chance? I haven't seen it in years, but thought it was a possibility.

Phrofit, interested to learn what you find.

I don't think it is brunges bridge either - the background (left side of picture) is what is throwing me. I know I've seen it just can't find it now.
Snarla- do you think it could be the st.albans bridge, Don't remember when I was out there last.

im not sure exatcly which bridge it is but i know about where its at. but, it will help to have a boat. If you load into the robbertsville state park, and go up river, (opposite way of the shallow fish trap)i recall it being about 15 minutes up river, you can see it from the river going up stream the best, if it is the right bridge, yes, it has been redone since that pic, you can hear cars crossing the bridge every ten to fifteen minutes. im going out on the river saturday, i may take a trip if the rivers not too high and compare the two.

I don't think it is the old St. Albans bridge, but the background looks like Labadie/St. Albans bluff area.

I was just having fun remembering the teen years in "haunted" St. Albans bridge. St. Albans doesn't look anything like it did back then. They tore down everything cool, the bridge, the silo and barns, now just big mansions everywhere.

They built a new bridge over the Meramec in the 70's. sounds like it a little confusing because there are two bridges crossing the Meramec in the Pacific area. And also Calling one Old Bridgeover Pacific and one the Old Bend Bridge is two different things...
