Taney County has alot of corruption. I've heard about the young female drug ring run by one of your own older male citizens. Follow the girls and some of your sheriff department folks, you'll find your source. Law enforcement arrest others while the girls continue to operate.

This isn't just happening in Taney county. The same is happening everywhere. There is corruption and INCOMPETANCE in the courts everywhere. My house was robbed in December 2007. A friend's daughter and 4 crackhead friends robbed my house of $6133 in items. Most were under 18 and so high on drugs they robbed the house with a neighbor watching thru the patio window. The neighbor was so stupid she didn't realised it was a robbery until they came out carring things. I guess she thought it was normal to enter a house thru a broken kitchen window.
When caught, several of the crackhead's parents were rich. One was a lawyer (friends with the judge), another was a doctor's son. The boys that did all the work got 30 days in jail for Grand Theft and 3 other felonies they were caught doing when arrested. The Brat that planned the robbery got 3 months. She had NO contacts. They each should have got 3 years. The police/prosecutor asked for them to be jailed until they turned 18. The judge said "No, 30 days is adaquate".
I told the prosecutor after the session: "I plan to send the crackheads the judge's address. After HE gets robbed, I bet he will put them away". The prosecutor made a comment about "connections" and would not say more.
In today's courts. It is how much money you have and who you know.
A freind was busted on drugs in another county. He was told for $40,000 the evidence would be lost and he would walk by his lawyer. He could not afford it so he got 5 years probation and a felony conviction. The same person that told him was caught a year later speeding and drinking. When arrested he had an OUNCE of Cocaine on him. When he walked into court, the first question he asked, I want to see the evidence. The police could not find it and all charges were dropped and he walked out for lack of evidence. No one ever explained what happened to the OUNCE of Cocaine. He was not even brought up in front of the BAR.
I

I was also robbed in march of 2007 , I lost Est. of $170.000 in mine and no insurance ,they were dope heads. I cant to this day get any info on what happened ,They caught some of them , but rumor has it they turned in other drug dealers .i never saw a one of them get to court on my case..

How many DWI's are reduced before the Dummy kills someone and is then sentenced to 5 years. That many arrests, he has full knowledge and the crime is premeditated (DWI) in which an innocent was killed = MURDER with 25 to life. Ya, don't hold you breath, he'll get 5 and be out in 18 months on parole because he attended church in the slammer. LMAO
None. The PA in Taney County doesn't reduce DWIs. They also ask for convictions on every DWI. So you clearly don't know what you're talking about...

Drug Court is really hard, there is absolutley NO room for error and it's getting worse all the time. I see the PA send a lot of people away for the smallest things....I don't think you can get away with anything in this county. It's much different than any of the other counties I have lived in.
