@annonmous no more mr Kyle is an outstanding guy and does care about the citizens of Christian county. To me there are a few things that may bite him in the butt this election

1. His command staff needs a new cheif deputy and get rid of the family favorites
2.If the allegations against his department on sexual harassment come out to be true.

As I have stated I have nothing against Kyle good guy to talk to very truthful and respectful.

M: Do you mean eradication? That would be a great use too, but don't count on it. Then again, now that he's been caught, he may do so to try to save face.

Get your facts straight. The site never accused the Sheriff of nepotism... it asked if you ever heard of the term. Did you fail to see the question mark?
When you have to hide behind the difference between what you implied and what you actually said, you lose all credibility.

@CCfCC that is what I meant auto correct on my phone kept changing it. Also i don't believe the capt of the jail got a new Tahoe he got cheifs old one. But what is interesting to me is. The new jail LT has a take home car. A training SGT from the jail has a take home car. The so called quartermaster has a take home car.

You infer quite a bit from people's comments on here. You ask if I'm one of Kyle's cronies, I tell you I've never met the man, then you follow up with "I wasn't accusing!! I just asked a question!!". Rather random question, if you ask me. I doubt you'd ask if that wasn't the point you were making. Nevertheless, you're treating people that aren't buying in 100% as though they are some sort of adversary.

I stated a few days ago that some of the things on your site, if true, should probably not be happening. My issue with the whole thing is the anonymity of it all. These things that are alleged didn't just start a month ago. Where have these "inside sources" been all this time. It's a type of selective moralism. I'll ask for the third time: have any of these people informed the AG, the Highway Patrol, or the state Auditor regarding these activities, or did they suddenly find fault with it right around election season? Another question not answered: Are you a member of the staff? If not, why do you insist on your own secrecy?

The other problem I have is that you seem to be shading your delivery of the facts. Better than half the allegations are followed by one or more updates that drastically change the nature of the original charge. A good example is your assertion that a Hummer and a motorcycle were purchased in lieu of raises for staff, then follow it up with an update that says they didn't buy those things. Doesn't that make the original charge moot, requiring a deletion?

As I've said numerous times, anonymous sources are part of the business. However, if your entire site is devoted to charges made by "folks in the know", some independent evidence should be required to make an informed decision. I, for one, don't have a habit of making decisions about candidates based on unsubstantiated claims, and I don't like my fellow voters to do so, either.

I'd like to add something else regarding the secretary of the jail. It's actually quite common in both business and municipalities for department secretaries to report to the senior or ranking secretary / office manager of the organization. The daily tasks and responsibilities may come from the person or department they are attached to, but the issues of HR, discipline, scheduling, training, etc. are handled by the head secretary or office manager. I agree that the issue with the jail secretary warrants some scrutiny, but you present the arrangement as though it is unheard of and patently improper.

Not at all true. It was a question, not a statement. Since when is a question something that someone said? Is no one allowed to ask a question without being accused of implying something? Seems like a totally unfair standard to be held to. We asked if anyone had heard of the word, nothing more. That people read a hidden meaning into it is not our fault. The whole thing was blown totally out of proportion to what was being said, which is why we changed the wording, as we didn't want people reading an accusation of a law violation into it.

We are fairly certain there was a policy in place, either at the county level or within the department, forbidding employees to work under another family member. We believe that is the reason the brother's supervisor is listed as the Sheriff's personal secretary. We are still waiting for confirmation. We have requested copies of the county policies on it. Until we receive any confirmation, we haven't published it. Either way, it's not very smart, since the two could collaborate to do things they shouldn't do, especially with all the cash that flows through the jail.

Ever heard of the term yellow journalism? The "CCfCC" likes to post statements on there site from anonymous sources and claim they're facts. Then when the statements are proven inaccurate they "update" the "facts" and blame it on their apparently unreliable sources or founder. They like to word things in a misleading manner in order to sensationalize or distort that actual facts.

Of course I'm not accusing them of yellow journalism, I was just asking if anyone had ever heard of the term...

The majority of businesses in this county have relatives working together. You don't think there are any checks and balances in place? They do not report to the same supervisor or to each other. What is the problem other than you want one to exist? Any potential problem has been prevented already.

It is normal in the professional world to have secretaries report to the highest level secretary or office manager. The top secretary knows more about the job than anyone else.
