It wasn't the commissioners, it was Lou. He threw out Roberts Rule Of Orders and went with a vote without a motion or second. Same thing he planned to do on the sales tax vote, but when Tom Huff showed up that messed his plan up.Why Roberts Rules suddenly not part of the process? Answer could force a vote then break the tie.

This is an ongoing nightmare!Still BS though, because in order to break a tie vote the parties have to vote first(see US senate rules, the vice president has the tie-breaking vote, but not until after the senate has voted). And yes, each Senator only has one vote.I don't care what John Housley(the county attorney)says, this is illegal.Of course he and our prosecutor only find things legal or illegal if it's expedient to the Presiding Commissioner's agenda!

I know this is off topic but Sparta's Attorney must have drank the kool-aid too. At their last meeting it was announced that the council hired another officer, well it turns out that two alderman otten andand strubble hired him, while the other two had gone to a visitation. The Attorney Davis said it was a qorum because the mayor was there. What happened to Roberts Rules?
Is the whole country going insane?

Waste of taxpayer's money. Either tear the bridge down or build another one! Why analyze it? Make a walking bridge out of it and build another one down the road.
