Two violent fugitives being sought in Springfield area

Crime Stoppers and the U.S. Marshal’s Service are seeking information on two people wanted for violating federal probation on drug convictions.

Jorge Torres, 31, is wanted on a federal warrant for probation violation on a conviction for conspiracy to distribute cocaine.

Torres also is wanted on a Greene County warrant for probation violation on a conviction of driving under the influence.

An Hispanic male, Torres is 5 feet 9 inches tall and weighs 200 pounds with brown hair commonly shaved bald and brown eyes.

Torres has a tattoo of the word “Jr” on his upper right arm and a clown tattoo on his upper left arm. He has several additional tattoos. He is believed to still be in the Springfield area and commonly frequents the downtown area.

Debra James, 59, is wanted on a federal warrant for probation violation on a conviction of dangerous drugs.

James is a white female, 5 feet 7 inches tall weighing 200 pounds with blonde hair and green eyes.

James may use the aliases of Debra Wolfe and Debra Taylor. Her only known identifying mark is a scar on her right calf. James is believe to be moving back and forth between Springfield and Ozark, but may also have ties to Ava and Norwood.

No attempt should be made to apprehend either Torres, who is known to be violent, or James, who is known to be armed and violent.

"The woman, who works at the Hillbilly Inn Lounge, 1166 W. Highway 76, told police she was returning to her room shortly after 1 a.m. Friday when "she was approached by a Hispanic male who was armed with a knife," police said in a news release.
The man demanded the woman's purse, then fled on foot behind other business along West Highwa 76, police said.
Suspect description: 5'-10", 160-170 pounds, mid- to late-20s.

That description fits both Daniel and Derek they look younger than they are and they look hispanic!

Not quite sure what he meant by old school hillbilly. LOL. I'm not actually serious about it hough. Just a fleeting thought that passes through my mind once in a while.
