There is a new Save a lot grocery store in Ozark. I went there on their first day. Their selection left a lot to be desired, they don't carry common items that every other grocery store, and most gas stations, carry. Like tabasco sauce, green beans, apple cider. What products they did have were overpriced and substandard, their fruit was all about to rot. When I checked out I paid more for less than I do anywhere else. Their customer service is horrible too. I will not be back.

Against my better judgement I went back to save a lot to give them another chance. Their onions were black, one of them had ruptured and was soggy. A watermelon had busted open and was rotten. That's absolutely disgusting. I brought it to the manager's attention, he picked up the watermelon but acted like he didn't care. He or another employee should have known about it to begin with, and fixed it before the store even opened to the public. I took pictures on my cellphone and will be taking them to the health dept.

R you an ex employee? I have found the store cleaner than any piggly wiggly. Savealot is a deep discount store with mainly generic brands. They r not a full grocery store. Just stoped in and got milk for 249!!! That's cheap!!!

Nope not an ex employee, I would just rather my food come from a place where half of it wasn't rotten. If their fruits and vegetables are rotten what else is rotten? I wouldn't let my family eat food from there.

Well Save a lot is closed, seen that coming from a mile away. Hardly no one was ever there, their selection was terrible, what they did have was cheap but more often than not they didn't have what you wanted. Never saw rotten food there, but didn't see many customers either, having that small of a store surely didn't help. They shot themselves in the foot when they started charging a quarter for a cart, thats when I decided it wasn't worth my trouble to stop by for milk eggs and OJ and still have to go elsewhere to get the bulk of my groceries.
