Does the judge realize that AQUA just purchased the water company and NOW they want to raise rates. Does the judge know that the typical annual water bill in 2008 for patrons was(is) 465.oo per year. ARE u kidding me. This is amazing. Yet another monopolistic opportunity given by a judge that could give a hoot because he DOESnot live in the area.
This is Funny

Or did they donate money to his re-election campaign?

We now pay the highest water bills in the country, not county THE COUNTRY

I was smart enough to buy stock when I heard they were taking over asfter seeing what happened when EXXON & BP did in California, They sold off their gas stations and bought the water companies all over the state, saying they were delivery specialist.
They didn't even wait a year after being caught then said OH,, the entire piping system is dangerous and needs to be changed. Dangerous water connect that to Calif and it's a win win situation. For the companies anyway

PS: I don't know how you only pay $465.00 a year, basic service is %58.00 monthly plus all kinds of taxes. AND they no longer cover the pipes to your home, only covered to the sidewalk BUT they sell Insurance ( with Limits of $1400.00) to FIND/LOCATE the leak and you hire your own plumber to fix it. But if your plumber isn't licensed to work by them you must use someone they refer from their list!
Time to leave L.I.
Well, it was time to leave in 2006 early 2007.

You said a email full! MY rate for the year is double that at least. You are correct. The 465.00 rate which is STILL large compared to the rest of the Districts was in AQUA's report.
