[Lollipop]

Sometime in the early 90's there was a Wednesday night party called Lollipop. Anyone remember this?

I think I went there maybe 2 or 3 times.
It was one of the best parties on LI.

oh my wonderful memories of Spit and Uncle Sam's. The money I spent on drinks, oye! However, never had to stand on line and a bouncer always walked me to my car. My best memory is a tap on the back near the dance floor and a question if I would like to dance, I don't remember answering but 27 years ago that faithful night, I met my life long dance partner, my husband of 25 years :)

Were there any gay guys or lesbians at Uncle Sam's/Spit? If not, you missed the boat at making it a REAL party place. Kind of 1980ish, don't you think?

that place was a blast in early 80s. U2 played there before they were famous, a lot of other bands, Joan Jett, Duran Duran, Billy Idol, lots more, if you didn't have fun here, you were a bore!!

I went there religiously, every Wednesday Spit and Saturday to Uncle Sam's. I know Stuart the DJ and all the staff, and Keith. I performed as Madonna in some of the lip-sinc shows there and have the fondest memories of everyone there. Those were some of the best times of my life!

This was in the early to mid 90's that I went there.

I also went there for a fashion show and my gf at the time was showing some hats that she made. There was a lipsync contest the same night.

Remember Denise Colamartino use to be a cocktail waitress. The Pasioni brothers use to come to the curiosity shoppe after hours and Kevin Miller and I would serve them til the weee hours of the morning.
