I work for an agency that helps people with disabilities in South Dakota. Robert Bittner was seperated from his family in the 1960's. We've recently done research and found that they lived in Oxon Hill, but are all deceased. Any information or pictures of them would be appreciated for Bob to feel some kind of connection to the family he hoped to reconnect with.
His father was Emil Bittner. He died in 1981.
His half-sister, Veronica, died in an accident when she was 16 in 1979.
Ursula was Bob's step-mother. We think she passed in 2006.
Any information would be greatly appreciated.

My family actually knew the Bittners quite well when we used to live in Oxon Hill. The last update that we had was that Ursula Bittner relocated back to Germany sometime in the late 80s/early 90s.
My sister was, in fact, best friends with Veronica.
Best of luck in your search for information.

Thank you for the information. Do you mind if I send you a list of questions Bob has about his family? My email address [email protected] I don't know if you have any pictures of the family, but Bob would love to see them.
