Oxford Area officials face taxing dilemma

So much wrong with the current system of school taxes in PA. Their isn't a strong enough check on the school board through no fault of their own. The system is set up to give them way too much power over the school budget. I also don't recall ever voting for the school board members especially the President of the board. I feel as though it's taxation without real representation.As an elderly individual, I will have to vote very carefully this election for anyone who is going to really change this system. I love the Oxford area,but I'm not going to foot the bill for schools on my limited retirement.
