I feel so bad for her. I have personaly visited her home and kennel on numerous occasions and have nothing but wonderful things to say about her, and the excellent care she takes of all her animals. I wouldn't buy a dog from any other breeder. Her dogs are all in excellent health, she spares no expense in their care, they are well groomed, well socialized, etc, etc. My opinion is that everyone falls on hard times now and then, and there are always extentuating circumstances. Funny how only one side of the story, is ever posted. People only hear the negative, but never the whole truth. At the end of the day, she's a great breeder and pet owner. What the AKC did was totally undeserved. They didn't even bother hearing her side of the story or doing their own inspection. Cruelty, what cruelty? Those dogs have never been abused or neglected a day in their lives. If she was such a bad breeder the state would have suspended or taken her license. THey didn't bcause they couldn't. THe fact is having been state liced since 2001 she has FAR more passing inspections than failing. Reporters should be ashamed for failing to get the whole story. They only care for juicy gossip which makes them no better then tabloids. Shame on you.
