This is political correctness gone crazy. Just because a team has an American Indian name does not imply they are disrespectful. The Florida State University has fought successfully to keep its Seminole name as well as the Illinois IIIini. Their arguement being they were using the tribal name and were representing the tribe in a dignified manner. There was a tribe in Ohio called the Miami hence the name for the university. They should have called themselves the Miami Indians and maybe avoided this situation. Because an undergraduate wears a war bonnet to a football game does not rise to the level of expulsion. Please reserve this punishment for the drunks and rowdies.
