Here in Monroe, Buzi touted that his tax increase was less than the previous democratic adminstrations. Not being as bad as the guy before you is not my idea of success. After years of supporting my party (democratic) I voted for the republican candidate.

And if he raises my taxes I will vote against him, too. I can't afford even a "small" tax increase any longer.

I agree. higher taxes are not an improvement. And anyone that are in favor of never ending tax increases will not get my vote.

2/3 of the municipal budget is education. Most of that is union-based employment. I value the effort of the individual teacher. But tenure, binding arbitration and the "protected status" do NOTHING to improve our kids' education or the learning environment. America must wake up and recognize unions add no value to the equation. It's like a runaway train...and Obama, Pelosi, Reid, Dodd, etc. continue to push the unions as a good idea....that distant thunder is the train wreck of our economic collapse.

Today looks particularly good for improving your earning capacity or working conditions. Events that develop around them could help to improve your self-esteem. You need to be wary of a friend's motivation because things aren't as simple as they seem. This is an excellent day to send out your resume and change work practices; get to know your colleagues better and basically have some fun with them.
